I bowed out of my PO of this guy, now that all the uproar has died down. Just not a big enough Nolan batman fan to drop $400 bucks after shipping.

Too many other things I'd like to have haha.

Haha, yeah, this "3.0" will be the 5th one if you're counting the Bank Robber version, MMS, DX01 and DX11 2.0. They did have like 5 or 6 Batmans though, sadly they just can't get it right yet...

There's one hanging up with a grapple gun above it and there are two hanging up with grapple guns attached to them. Behind the bat suits left arm. Plus the description I think said three.

Haha, I was just thinking, wouldn't it have been interesting if he moved his old Begins suit into that armory in the bunker since it's assumed Bane tossed his new one..... it is a stronger, more resistant armor, even though it makes him slower, but against Bane, didn't really seem like speed was a factor but rather brawn, so it could've been like his "Knightfall" armor... haha, probably a stupid idea, my mind tends to drift... LOL

I thought about that, but then Talia couldn't use the knife on him had he used that BB suit. She'll have to use a gun or something which would have killed him instantly.

He survived Harvey's gunshot with less protective armor, there's no reason he couldn't have done so with stronger armor, lol The stab wound was pretty deep and he still managed to do what he did, because he's BATMAN! hahaha

Haha, anyways, I thought it would be a cool idea since the 3rd film was sort of about going back full circle to the 1st film, that maybe he could've re-used the old armor, or maybe combined the 2 to make a stronger one, but I'm still happy with the way it all turned out.

Going back to the figure, I'm still debating if I should get an armory w/ the Batsuit to get another Batman figure... I guess it depends on whether or not the armory will sell alone without the suit. Or whether it'd be cheaper just to buy the Batsuit figure after it's been parted out. With one batsuit w/ emtpy cowl in the armory, I'm going to use the faceplate cowl (hopefully updated and improved) and switch it with my DX12 one on the Batpod, probably sell that one, and I definitely want an extra one after that to put on my 2nd DX12, so I'm getting that part. Hmmm, looks like I might not need another Batman figure, haha. Forget that rant, it appears that I was just talking to myself

Not sure if this was posted yet already, but does anyone know the size of the base? I'm trying to figure out if it will stand on half a Besta shelf or if I'll need a whole shelf for it.

Speaking of bases, I keep wondering if we'll get a stand for the batman figure. Would be weird to not include one but there's been no mention of it in the description or pictures. I'd love a standard black oval stand.

Yes, that's a strange omission from the spec. Though I expect it will be included. Everything else is there to build the figure, and HT always provide a stand (unless the character has enormous feet!)

For some reason, I don't think it will have a stand. Yes, it is a figure on it's own, but the main purpose of it was to go in the armory. I think only Bruce and Alfred will have stands, but you can get one easily for cheap.

Yeah unfortunately this is what I'm thinking. They'll probably view the Batsuit as mainly for use in the armoury and not include a stand. A shame though, I much prefer the simple black stands hot toys used to always use, really wish they'd still include them as an extra when they use the fancy bases. I know the TDK version Batman oval stand is sometimes found on ebay but it's always pretty pricey.

I just buy the cheap HT knock off stands from ebay and if I want, order a custom decal from Corrose.
