Also these are high end collectables as stated by CNN, so the demographic isn't really kids. I guess that wouldn't stop kids from watching the videos, nor stop them from finding **** hub either though.

The demographic of SALES might not be kids. But as i said before, they can easily go online and type in "Iron Man" on youtube because they saw the movie and think it's cool and have a review show up. They can then watch that and boom...you might make a new friend or future collector. Demographics don't mean TOO much i feel.

Serious question:

Do parents here watch toy reviews when their kids are around?

Why not play with them for a chance and watch reviews when they are asleep?

That's a rather broad and sweeping assumption, that I or others neglect our kids to watch HT review vids. I have three kids of various ages from 7 to 13 and all of them have plenty of time and enrichment from myself and their mother. The boys love my HT figures and occasionally watch the reviews I look at, once I have pre screened them of course.

The lighting on this last pic really sells it.

Also, those sticky bomb hooks on the mesh cage are a pain in the ***. I went cross eyed trying to line those up on the right hole in order to make it look right.

Yeah, that was probably the worst part of the set. If you ask me, those really should have been installed as part of the cage, rather than having to be added as separate pieces.

Pretty great. If I had one gripe, it'd be those little tray steps that fold in and out. On the middle one, I can't fit the capsules and belt accessories in the middle compartment because they're not deep enough. I mean, they fit, but when I go to close the whole thing up, the top tray won't close in because the capsules graze the bottom of it because there isn't enough space. Anyone else experience this?

No, that's weird. Are you sure they're oriented right?

I appreciate the support that you guys have shown me since i've entered the 1/6th scale reviews. It's true that some get things for free. But it's also true that some don't. I choose to pay for my stuff. Now, have i gotten things for free from companies...yes i have.

Are you up-front, at the start of your reviews, by announcing that any specific item was freely given to you? You should be providing full disclosure notices at the beginning of your reviews when they apply - it would be the right thing to do, for the sake of your viewers.

Has anyone tried to custom wire the armory's electronics? I noticed the lights in my armory were a little dim over the weekend so I changed the batteries and voila, bright again. I would hate to have to constantly change the batteries on this thing. I was thinking of the dowel rod and wire custom project that I saw over in the Iron Man Hall of Armor thread, but don't know enough about electricity to link up the wires.

Let me get my armory in so that I can take it apart to verify what Hot Toys has done with the LEDs. Every one of their products that I have on hand that takes batteries is wired incorrectly and that can lead to burned LEDs when using anything other than batteries to power them. I can compensate for that, but I need to look at what's inside first.

Off topic, but still relevant

I bought alfred's body for another custom, but all the necks i have the peg hole is either too big for the peg in the body or the peg in the body is too small for plug in the neck

Has anyone put a separate neck piece on to alfred's body? if so which neck fits properly

Thanks in advance guys

Thanks a lot! Yea burned LEDs was what I am afraid of.

Hi guys, I know I've asked before.. but has anyone here ordered their set from Cornerstore Comics and received their armory set? Had mine preordered since january and still haven't heard a lick from them about it. Called over a month ago and they said they assured me it was coming in soon, but it's been over a month since then. Getting pretty annoying.

That sucks. Cornerstone is a good shop with good people working there. I haven't preordered anything from them, but got my Sauron PF from them and had a great experience dealing with them both online and in store.

My LCS in Canada just got them in last week, it should be pretty soon. BBTS is always behind, CS might be too, they are legit though

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I ordered from CSC before for something that was in stock and it went well. However I've noticed they're horrible at replying to emails. Sent them about 10 emails in the past 2 months asking about the armory and didn't get a single reply. lol.. and i emailed both their customer service and the "desk" email too. But yeah.. guess will just have to wait. haha

I just noticed my Batman cowl and Batman headsculpt have these gloss splotches on them where I'm guess the sticky foam rubbed it. Damn it.

That sucks, man. I didn't really eyeball mine and it's past the 30 days, so if they're there on mine, I'm screwed. I also just read that some dude's RoboCop came with duplicate mouthplates, so he wound up getting two instead of the full four. I didn't check mine thoroughly, I hope that's not a problem either. :slap

Yeah, I was too enthralled with the armory to comb through my Batman for problems.
