well dx 11 has
wrong face's shape, wrong smile, ledger (didn't have a chewingum in mouth)
wrong hair and hairline..
wrong nose..
btw the pics posted were for the example only to compare the face, not for clothes or custom hair..
in my opinion the dx 11 has the worst likeness ever..in fact there are a lot of people that have tried to resculpt it..
maybe for one reason

Clearly movie accuracy and actor likeness isn't your main focus, judging from the pics you posted, likeness and outfit is on par with like any Mattel or any generic TDK Joker figure. Which is fine btw, whatever float your boat

Yes and the reason for the resculpt was because unlike all the other Jokers by Hot Toys the DX11 has the most potential.
And his hair looks like it was knitted.
don't look hair and clothes only his amazing face and smile.. (this custom figure is not by me I wrote already)

See if u can find a pic with the head tilted down on the smiley head down like comparison screen shot pic and I think the differences will become more noticeable as they will be on the same angle. Nevertheless, from front on I can't see any resemblance to Ledger at all on the smiley sculpt, that sculpt could be anyone, the eyes are totally wrong and the nose is too long. Maybe if they modded that like the DX11 then that might help with the likeness.

Well maybe the original would be but I just saw a recast of this the other day on ebay by onesixthkit.

it would be very nice to see a version of the dx 11 or the bank robber head (without any mods)
unpainted..to see the difference..adam's version is untouchable..

The eyes are the wrong shape and look too long. I don't think the smile is spot on either, I think the DX11 smile looks more accurate IMO. But it does have a better jaw shape than the DX11.

I feel the same way about the smiley Bank Robber sculpt.
