Anyone here who DOESN'T have the version 1 who is going to buy this? Can't see any reason why someone who does have V1 would really be interested in this.

If I saw just that last week, I'd say it was the original version without a single change. It's literally identical.

They even have it in the same pose as the old pics/specs of the first release. It's pretty pitiful. So I wonder if this is the release Howard was referring too in that interview a few months back. It's pretty bad when Iron Man is the more interesting figure in the TF lineup.

This is a throw back to all the ones that missed it.. I guess you can say it's a limited SDCC release and not "mass produced" so it's not an official calendar year Hot Toy figure. I am okay with that, looks like they didn't spend much time changing this one so it was an easy re-release. I have never owned a Predator figure but the exclusive one looks pretty awesome!

The original sculpt with the slicked back hair will be sought after but there are many " bootlegs" out to supply that demand

i think that the 1.0 is more funny with mask because this will be a headsculpt.

but i dont have the 1.0 so i take this then

So, in essence, what is 2.0 about this? Better paint on the hair and a sculpted mask, correct? And Of course the backdrop.

I really never owned the first release, could've had it for a deal, but never really wanted it all that bad. This is an easy pass unless they give to me for free like they did Angelica.

Wow - it's basically the same figure - except the previous one had two heads AND a mask.

I should've kept my original one. That dio thing is stupid too - what a waste of money & space.

I don't really see the point in this figure. If you never got the original one then I guess it's good. I can't imagine costing an arm and a leg, depending on how many accessories come with it. Pass for me. All three are.

Yeah, this is for the ones that missed out on the original. It's gonna be $220 + tax + shipping from SS.

I do have the V1 but to be honest it looks so outdated. This and Harvey really need an update. I always liked the headsculpt and with the new paint and improved hairline it is a definitive upgrade. Also the suit is promoted to be slimmer which is also something that I dont like on the V1. As good as V1suit is, you can clearly tell it is one of HTs earlier suits. Not as bad as Two-Face but next to Coulson or the DX11 it is just missing something.
Also the bag seems to have gotten a nice upgrade.
Maybe now is the time to restart my bankrobber shirt. HT missed this one again. Anything else however looks good to me. Even the backdrop.
I am still not sure, but I lean towards getting this version too and simply keep the best parts of both versions for me and sell the other stuff later down the road.

I don't have the V1 version, I thought I was going to be in on this (assuming it was improved), but I think I'm going to pass on this too. Not blown away by it, thanks HT for saving me some $$$!

It's worth noting that customs charges can be high with Sideshow. That said, I'm probably gonna go for this. I never got the original and I still periodically search eBay for it, only to be put off by the crazy prices.

**** me sideways... HT is just shameful anymore. Yeah, I get that some aspects of the BRJ will be upgrades, but seriously another f'n Joker? And not a single Nurse in the lot Next I guess they'll have an exclusive of the cop Joker with "new improved paint technique and realistic accessory."
