Once they realize no one is going to buy, prices will drop. Some members here have gotten it for under $230 I think, or less. With the STRIKE Steve Rogers set, they put down limited quantity (back when they did that, I think they stopped), which caused people to pre-order before it sold out and went to waitlist. Several did, got charged the NRD, and a few days later, or a week, it is up and available again, and still is to this day. Turned out it was a big con by SSC to get people to pre-order, which has got everyone on edge now and not acting so quickly unless it's a several limited exclusive run.

Speculation, but it happened on a few items.

Apparently someone pushed the panic button and nabbed one off BBTS... I'm sure they would have converted on SSC and bagged some reward points with it.

If the figure released at the $220-$230 price tag, you wouldn't see half the complaining about the cost. Hell, i most likely would have bought one for that price. But now, its just out of spite that I won't buy it.

Without a doubt! I'm with you on the boycott because the whole thing couldn't be rationalized and was downright insulting. I wasn't budging either. The one and only reason I ended up going for it was because my buddy owns a shop and hooks me up with great prices. If it wasn't for SS releasing it to their retailers, I never would have bit. I wouldn't have even wasted points on it to make it an acceptable price.

Well, if it's on the verge of selling out, maybe it was more limited than we thought and that could've had a big part in why they chose that price point

I guess this won't make it to it's 2nd Spooktacular where it would be quadruple rewards and 50% off like some have predicted

I'll bet that by the time the next Spook rolls around, all the reasonably priced ones will be dried up and they'll be notheing but slim pickins at high prices

What HT and SS will do is make lesser product and increase the price for their next exclusive.

Everyone will panic once it's sold out, just look at those exclusive iron man figures.

I got mine for a price I was ok with, but I'm really glad I got him. For me he's undoubtedly the best representation of the dark knight joker & one of my Grail pieces. If only I could get another body to display with alternate head

Has any product, after the preorder stage, gone on waitlist and then went back to "in stock?" I was really hoping I could get this at a discount around $230.

I know I got my DX10 way back that way. It was either on waitlist or sold out, I forget but probably the former, and then 2-3 became available like several months later, and I picked it up. They used to, and that how's our buddy cofphoto ended up buying the Rogers set and then it became available again shortly after and still is.

Same **** happen to my EB MJ home white jersey and shorts. Maybe it's because I'm in Asia, but there's like very minimal sunlight in my room and I placed these inside a detolf. A few of the other guys in the EB Jordan thread expericenced the same thing on their home jersey, so I don't think the climate in Asia is the problem here.

I think I'll just have to find some light blue dye, and dye the shirt to make it screen accurate and get rid of that glue Mark.

There will be glue too in between the fold of the inner shirt. I guess that's what it is.

No glue stains on both of mine sorry to hear defect ,wish they made these more user friendly to change llke the wolverine dress shirt. I have a xtra from old asmus clothing release ,but its meh compared to the tailoring on the 2.0 's

I just ordered one Alter Ego Comics had as a display. Paid some of it with a giftcard, so it really only cost me $175. Can't wait for it to arrive!
