I skipped the original release way back and sort of regretted it, so I'm most likely going to pick this up. Having said that, this is sort of a "meh" release.

I am just in a shock right now that HT actually pulled another fast one. There is nothing new with this but the base and backdrop, screw the repaint. I would rather they used the DX 11 pers headsculpt for this but no, instead we get an outdated HS with a repaint. This is DEFINITELY an EASY pass for me and i'll gladly keep my original BR joker.

Looks like it.

That's a pretty bad shot of the original, but it does look like they massaged that seam a bit. Having said that, the prototype Hong repainted before had a nice hairline, too, and really seems to be the basis for what they're doing here:

Yurrrp - that headsculpt and paint job is six years old.

I knew HT were bad when it came to milking the same character but.....lmao. Good luck to all who purchase this at the insane price tag it will carry.

Though I'm still on the fence I'm actually pretty happy it's no PERS sculpt. If I'm getting the set, I'd probably pop the flat haired headsculpt of the first version on it with the mask in the hand and use this headsculpt, maybe with a repainted eye position for another Joker.

Actually the original headsculpt always was one of HT better ones imo so with the more improved paint app and finer sculpted hair this seems to come with, I think it's a nice headsculpt, not perfect for sure but I think it could look better than the DX11.

Its a repaint of the original BRJ headsculpt. Not the DX11.

- Updated Outfit (No belt is screen accurate)
- Shotgun
- Sculpt is the repainted JC version
- Bozo Mask is a sculpted head piece
- Base + Backdrop

ok, cause as soon as I saw it the first thing that popped into my head was DX11. Is it too early to say that the version 2 might actually be worse than version 1? considering that with this one the mask isn't even removable? IMO the backdrop looks awful as well
