Re-issues of characters dont really annoy me, but when its at the potential cost of other figures that havent even seen an initial release yet:
Gordon
Blake
Ra's
Then it makes me sad
Yeah, I already knew what the responses and counters would be. I've been at this point before, just not to this extent. That's why I've been deleting my posts. I dunno, it just bums me out a bit because it feels like it's hit critical mass overload.
In regards to Ra's perhaps Neeson denied.
I'm pretty sure all the negativity would diminish 100% over this and The Bat if they would just release Batman Returns. The DC section has pretty much sucked all year other than Batman and Robin (for me). Mime Joker is a great figure, I picked him up.. but he is niche. Not a lot of board excitement over that one.
The truth is, this Bank Robber Joker could turn out to have the best HS out of all the Jokers and I think that will bring a large degree of excitement. Now whether or not that translates to the finished product...
I'm gonna at least wait to see the figure before I make a judgment call.
Hope it's 1/4 but highly doubt it. Wouldn't make much business sense for HT to make it an exclusive.
Anybody have any ideas/thoughts of what the ironman figure is?

Have they ever sold out at SDCC or do you mean after they go up on SideshowAgain, HT follows the MONEY now- that's why such figures as Lone Ranger are not being made. This ONE Joker will sell out and make alot more $$$$ for them- look at the dud exclusives from last summer still lingering around.

Who's blaming other collectors for buying redos of characters they already have? Nobody.

Fan said:(…) Though I must say I would have appreciated to see other undone TDK trilogy characters over this, like Ra's, Trenchcoat Gordon / Bat-Signal, Blake and so on.
Sure they do. I read lots of posts over the past months of people complaining about Hot Toys but specially about (in their opinion) dumb collectors asking for more Nolan Batman releases or re-releases, as if that would cause that Hot Toys doesn’t release other things.
There were many imo disrespectful posts towards Nolan Batman collectors pointing at them as if they were collecting just because they don’t like other things and are pathologically fixated on this line and things like that.
But I’m sure I’m not only speaking for myself when I say that this is wrong. I collect things from this line as I love the movies and especially the Art of the movies so I love to have realistic models from them to look at at home. Re-releases are in the nature of these high-end collectibles as there is a chance to get them close / closer to perfection compared to other kinds of collectibles (posted all that before but counter arguments are simply ignored anyway, right? …).
There are many other movies I love, I just can't and don't want to concentrate as much on them collectible-wise. So would I buy that many collectibles of them? - No! Am I alone with that. - Don't think so. Is that dumb? - No! Think I’m also not alone with that and hence understand why HT keeps making these figures. But if they didn’t I wouldn’t go into other threads of other collectibles of complaining about the collectors.
I don’t mind when a thousand people post that they don’t like a figure release or the Way a company behaves and so on, in fact I even share some opinions, just take a look at my opening post:
I also understand the frustration about other releases that people are waiting for.
But it’s a different story when somebody keeps posting that other collectors are annoying him since they keep having fun with Nolan Batman collectible and while posting that doesn’t give a damm about their reasons.
You’re really surprised that these collectors get annoyed from that behaviour (and others) after all?
