It seems they made at least 50K each of those figures.

Lol...

Ughh. I'm conflicted.

Alright....so as stated before, there's no NRD so if one were to order, they'd be able to cancel before ever being charged (least until it ships in August). That isn't too far away....do you get a warning or something, letting you know that if you don't cancel now, you will be charged? Never preordered on SSC

Yes, 2 weeks before arrival/card being charged. You'll get an email from SSC.

:clap Yeah, that's pretty accurate :lol Terminator might be #5

I'm not sure they'll do much more Terminator. Beyond the diecast endoskeleton and that 1:4 Police Station Shootout T-800 if they haven't dropped that scale from their plans. They should make Kyle Reese but I'm not sure they will with the continuous glut of Marvel.

Which is a shame since it was MMS #1.

They love their little honorary 2.0 BS for Iron Man, Batman and Joker, but the very first character from their first movie line gets no love. To hell wit dem.

I dont think they'll do Reese. AS much as I hope theyd do one for collectors like you, I dont think it'd sell well for em to make him. And by sell well I mean comparing the sales to Iron man or Joker figures.

All production facility must and need to produce Iron Man and Jokers 24/7 all year round.

But what about the new Terminator movie/trilogy? And there's always T3, if the new trilogy fails.

I do agree with you though. I do feel that I am overpaying. But when I was expecting to pay $230-$240, my thinking is what's another $30 for a figure I really want and will be more superior than the first version.

I just think people are going a bit overboard regarding the price. There are a lot of unknown price factors that come into play that we as collectors don't know about.
I kind of agree with you on the $30 dollar price point since it's not much more especially if you like the figure.

The way I approach these purchases now is do I want another joker or can I not put this money towards another figure let's say the upcoming Robocop at $ 300 diecast.

I beginning to streamline my collection because as I look at it I would like more variety and I know it's not entirely Hot Toys fault but have 3 different Thor and 5 captain America and 3 different widows is getting repetitive.

There will be another Widow soon, I just saw her new hair style on FB. :duh
Yup did you see the whole avengers line up the got the whole gang back again including fury minus Colson and the addition of the "mutant" twins.

Thor's costume has not changed , Tony in reverse Mark 42 color , I am guessing hulk will be the same based on the promo pic with him fighting the hulk buster, Hawkeye gets a jacket and cap gets a repainted stealth suit. I am thinking fury gets a newer style trench coat.

I am certain that marvel does not do massive costume changes so they can reuse the toy molds the already have.in any event Hot Toys will more them likely announce they got the avengers licence at comic con.

Thank you Clown Prince and Hydeous.

I ended up pulling the trigger 5 minutes ago even though I said I resisted earlier.

I'm so weak.:pow

My original BR has gotten extremely loose in the ankles (and I kinda had an accident with the messy HS), and at this point I'm just struggling to justify myself for ordering.
Oh well, there's some thinking time ahead :)
And if I ultimately choose to cancel, then so be it.

269.99

I'm guessing with shipping to NY (not sure if there'll be tax...?) I'm looking at 280-285?

Tax is around $20ish in CA, not sure bout NY. Shipping will be another $15. This figure is approx $300. Holy crap!

0_o geez Louise.

That and the prices for a narrow shoulder truetype right now just...just:eek

I purchased my figure earlier today. I'm not looking forward to finding out what cost of delivery to Australia will be.
