Thanks! :) My main objective is to achieve the general appearance of the modded Scarlet Witch figure a few pages back, but using the clothing and accessories of Hot Toys. So here goes:

1. How will I know which seamless body to use to match the skin tone and bust size?
2. Will the replacement body be the same height or will it distort her overall proportion?
3. Will the replacement body take the Hot Toys hands, boots, and head?
4. Is Phicen the best brand to get, or are there alternatives?
5. Are replacement bodies readily available in the US?

Everyone is welcome to share their answers/thoughts. I really appreciate this, guys. I'm mostly a Star Wars collector and spend most of my (lurking) time over that part of the forum, but I just find Elizabeth Olsen really attractive so I made a space in my collection for her (and Ada Wong :lol ).

1. If you're going by those pictures of the modded SW shown earlier: the body used in that mod is a large bust Suntan w/ removable feet. Suntan is the designation Phicen uses for their Hot Toys compatible skin tone in their stainless steel versions.
2. Depending on which stainless steel body you purchase, it may or may not be the same height. They sell headless, boxed nude bodies that are just as tall as most male figures once a head is attached. Some of the earlier stainless steel bodies that came with a head and just a bikini are closer to "normal" female height. These are getting harder to find, unless you check eBay, and are over a $100 usually. The body used in those mod photos is definitely one of the headless ones that is fairly tall... you can tell by how long her legs look.
3. Yes. This shouldn't be a problem. However, the SS skeleton is often very weak at the wrist, and has a hard time holding even the slightest weight. If you gently pull back the skin at the wrist a little bit, use a needle-nose pliers to gently squeeze the joint around the ball at the wrist, don't crimp behind it.
4. Right now, if you want seamless, Phicen can't be beat, and their SS skeleton is leagues ahead of anything out there.
5. Yes. But don't be afraid to shop for them overseas, especially Asian sellers. You can often find them cheaper from overseas.

Hope this helps.

It does, a lot. Thank you. I just want to do a body transplant and basically just use everything else that came in the HT box. I was hoping to make the legs more aesthetically pleasing. The visible joints take away from the figure for me.

Thanks for the tip on how to tighten the wrist joint. I never would have thought of that, or have the courage to actually perform the procedure, without the gentle push you provided.

Just make sure before you remove the hands from the Phicen body, that you heat the hands up with a hair dryer, otherwise you risk pulling the wrist peg out of the arm. It's not that big of a deal, but it will loosen up that joint even more if you pull it out. Also make sure you get a Phicen with the removable feet.
Also, you will have to drill the hole of the HS a little deeper, as the stainless steel Phicens have a much longer neck peg then HT. Go slowly, don't drill too deep at first, and test it until you get the depth that looks right. It's not that difficult. I use a Dremel with a special sanding bit that is long, cylindrical, and just as wide as the ball joint on the neck peg.

Just got this today. Jumped on it late. Very impressed. I see some of you guys have been able to work the hair better. What are you doing to make the hair less curly and puffy and stay in position?

Very useful information which I can tell came from personal experience. Thanks for the tip. I feel terrible for having to tamper with the original head sculpt. Will I get the same result if I worked the tool on the replacement body neck peg instead?

No. The neck peg on the body is steel, and has a ball joint on both ends. The peg itself is very long, and would require it being cut in half and shortened before being welded back together, which frankly would be virtually impossible due to its small size. It's not that bad to drill the HS, particularly if you don't plan on putting it back on the stock body. If it worries you that much, try finding a loose HS on eBay, just so you have a spare.

Damn. Water. Never would have thought it would be that easy. Lol.

If anyone thinking of doing a modd, I still would prefer a Phicen stainless Steel with removable feet as opposed to a a reg Phicen . Stainless Steel Suntan or Pale version

Did a minor mod on my SW, grab an Ada Wong body last week from Toy Anxiety. Swap out the legs today. Ada Wong's skin tone is a bit lighter

After 12 years of collecting SS/HT figures, this is my first female character, and I'm very happy. I haven't had time to apply some water to the hair yet or really get down and dirty with posing it, however I love this thing. Very commanding presence.
