Well I agree with that now, I've lost all respect for Penny as a character and I don't like the actress any more, after season 4 its just been downhill for her

Hmm...unless they completely drop the ball on Wanda then it's a definite pre-order for me. I mean, it'd have to turn out terrible, and from that one image we've seen, it looks like that won't be the case. I passed on Vision because I think there'll be another version later that I like more, which is the same reason I passed on this Widow. I actually liked the face, but the hair just threw me off it.

It's really a matter of whether or not I get both Twins, as well as the pricing on Quicksilver...a combo pack with an extra accessory or two (ala Groot/Rocket) would make it more enticing; however, still not sure if he's worth such a huge investment as a character from just one movie.

It'll definitely be a dead stare. If the headsculpt shown earlier is the version they're going for with her, then she's looking like Black Widow or any other figure would. I don't mind it too much. I think certain characters are okay with the one look, whereas being forced into an angry face sometimes takes away from a piece.

It'd be nice to have alternate heads, with a regular expression and then a more emotional one to choose from, but then that price would jump a lot faster, I'm sure!

Oh, I'm sure they'll land under $230...that seems to be the rough average for most Hot Toys regular figures right now. It's more that I don't know if Quicksilver is worth that amount...even though he won't be lower. It's not like he'd be $199.99 because he's gone now...he'll be full priced. That's why a combo pack with $20 or so off would be more tempting. But even then, I'm not sure about putting that much into him!

I think I'd be more apt if the Canadian dollar didn't knock things up so much right now. He also has to look good too! I mean, even though they're just doing one of him, that doesn't guarantee they'll nail the sculpt!

In the end, Wanda's the only guarantee that I'm looking at right now. Vision ended up being a pass until later, and Quicksilver is up in the air. Cap I'm waiting for Civil War, and Black Widow could be any of the future releases! Cap, Widow and Hulk are the only "main" guys that I've yet to acquire. I've avoided enemies aside from Loki, and I don't see that changing for AoU...the drone I'll get with the Mk. XLIII is plenty for me on that front!

Hell, I've still got to pick up the rest of the Guardians outside of Quill! As well as Ant-Man in a few months, and who knows how many DC characters next year!

Never too soon.

Yeah, I passed on Gamora, but part of me wants to pick her up still. She turned out great from the looks of in-hand shots. I think promo pictures have actually done most recent Hot Toy pieces less justice than their actual prototypes without the photoshop, etc...(I'm mainly looking at you AoU Hawkeye!)

Groot/Rocket I missed the two pack, so I'll probably just grab them in the sequel...and it's not like Drax is anywhere right now. Which is fine, because really, I thought the version they had at SDCC was pretty bad. There's a face that needs to at least look in thought and not like "derp" or smiley which is how it looked. The sculpt was really well done, but the face was lacking for him...he's one who could use eyebrows going down a bit...or just a bit more in that department.

And yeah, DC is on the horizon, which is a guaranteed Man of Steel (yet to pick him up), Batman, and Wonder Woman. Bah! Just so many coming...the one good thing that I always take into account when juggling is when the next time they'll appear is! If a sculpt isn't fantastic, or just how I want it, or if I've got too much on my plate, I'll go, "Okay, Widow will definitely be out again in either Civil War or the next Avengers movie, so I'll just hold out." That's the one really good aspect of the comic book films, as most times you can guess who will get multiple pieces made!
