I feel like the releases that SSC/HT is putting NRDs on are ones that HT doesn't have as much confidence in and wants to limit production towards. HT wants to gauge interest in the figure before committing to a certain edition size and NRDs help ensure only the serious collectors will buy. I don't think SSC gets or requests EXs unless the production run is higher.

So why then does BBTS have no NRD? Makes no sense- all these are coming from SS anyhow....they can only gauge interest with NRD on people who buy from them...
I refuse to pay NRD unless it's an exclusive and I have no choice

You must have me confused with someone else! Apart from the First Class suits, and some of their casual attire, I don't have much love at all for the bland X-suits.

Then why all the big broo haha about this being your "display of grails" over in the Show Your Shelves section?

Yes lately- doesn't mean much once figure is released they have plentiful supplies it seems

what do you guys think of the face sculpt on this one?

It looks like the actress. So far, it's the best looking female figure from HT, imo. Gamora looks good too, but she's an alien, so that's probably easier to get right. This figure doesn't look like a doll, unlike some of HT's previous female figures. I think the freckles on her face makes this figure look more realistic, which is something I haven't seen HT do with other female figures, only the male figures. Those little "imperfections" makes the figure look more human.

So BBTS offers no discount over Sideshow anymore? They just don't charge an NRD and that's the only difference now?

I see zero reason why someone would order from SS when there are sellers like BBTS (no NRD, super saver shipping which is 6 bucks with tracking) and AE (AE's prices are always discounted and has points similar to SS). They both double box without ludicrous $10 extra fees.

Customer service is essentially the same. They get their replacements from sideshow.

And their shipping prices are fair. Not $17 for a thin, non double boxed, package sent within their own state.

I just like ordering from SS because I get my stuff shipped to me in like, a day.

Do to shipping costs I don't buy anything directly from SS with the exception of exclusives I may be interested in. It costs me over $30 for double boxed shipping from them for simple 12 inch figures - just way too much compared to other sites.

1)I like Elizabeth Olsen. She looks just enough like her sisters to see the resemblance, but is way prettier. The Olsen twins remind of troll dolls.
2)I need more female figures. My collection is already a sausage fest and I need to include some women. With AoU Black Widow, this will give me
only my second female figure. I'll still buy IM armors, but got to have some ladies with them.

There's advantages and disadvantages to them all. For me, being from Ohio, I'm charged tax, so AE is usually out for me.

AE doesn't double box anymore. Found that out with Black Widow and Winter soldier. They don't have option either. I'm reluctant to buy from them now.
