The Dark Knight = $1 Billion, no 3D
The Avengers = $1.5 Billion, 3D
The Dark Knight Rises = $1 Billion, no 3D
Avengers Age of Ultron = $1.4 Billion so far, 3D

3D is 20% more profit from each ticket. Do the math.

But not every Avengers ticket is 3-D (I never saw either one in 3-D). And if you want to do the math, assuming that isn't the case, 1 billion plus 20% is 1.2 billion.
