Yeah I know what you mean. I was pretty surprised about Wanda's price point and now I'm expecting QS to be in the same range. My ultimate goal is to create an Avengers diorama (lol I'm buying a used 65 gallon fish tank tomorrow off Kijiji for the display case) so I'm just biting the bullet and getting all the members. I'm doing a cop out on Ant-Man though haha, I pre-ordered the Diamond Select figure since it comes with a miniature Ant-Man that I plan to place in Hulk's open hand and just say he shrank. If Heroclix comes out with a 1" movie Ant-Man, even better LOL. I'm already dreading the damage Black Panther, Captain Marvel will eventually do to my bank account in a few years plus whatever new Avengers join for the third movie.

Btw, were you ever able to find a Captain America AoU pre-order? Heroes World work out?

That's a good way to save some money if you don't want to go all in with Ant-Man! I wasn't really shocked with her price...I think females costing $20 less than the guys is over now. Gamora was the last, and now it's just "Everyone is $225!" So long as that's the price for the next year or so, then that won't be TOO bad. I mean, it's still huge :lol But I mean, I just hope it doesn't creep up fast. Bigger guys like Ultron, Hulk, and Die Cast figures are fine because they're rare pieces, but I'd like to pick up Affleck as Batman, and a few others for hopefully in and around $235 by next year! Hot Toys can rake it in if they don't go crazy like Sideshow has with their price jumps!

As for your question, you may have me mixed up with someone else! :) I was never looking for Cap, though I think he looks great! I made the choice that I was going to pick up Cap from Civil War, as I think that'll be a great representation of the figure, and the film! Luckily I found a place in Canada to order from, so hopefully they stick around! :)

I just noticed scarlet took MMS 301 so who took 300?

Mk. 45 Iron Man was MS 300...I never guessed for the contest, but when I saw it I said, "Iron Man!" I'm surprised anyone answered differently! :lol

LOL @ you guys with Maggie Gyllenhaal... For some reason when she was first mentioned in the thread Joan Cusack popped into my head... :horror

On some photos, she reminds me of Melisandre from Game of Thrones...

lol oh man, I'm scared for when BvS comes out next year 'cause I might want to make a Justice League diorama also.

And yeah, oops, I mixed you up with another fellow canuck Freak I spoke to a week or two ago. [insert obligatory Canadian "sorry"]

The good news there is you can do what I've done with the Avengers with the upcoming DC characters. There's no real rush with how studios are doing it now, and that's somewhat nice for collecting. We'll get a new Superman, and a Batman or two (I'm guessing regular and armored) as well as the possibility of Wonder Woman. I'm skeptical we'll see Aquaman, Flash or any of those guys, as I think they'll aim to do them in their own movies that are coming out so soon afterwards. Of course, Hot Toys has been DC-lite for a long time now outside of Batman, so they could prove me wrong and go all out!

Either way, with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and everyone else all getting their own movies, there's no rush to buy them the first time out. It'll be interesting to see who they pick and choose to make from Suicide Squad as well. Ugh, it's going to be painful. :lol

That's why I try to stick to me "one figure per character" rule...if a figure nails it, then that's who I'll get to represent that character. It'd take big changes, or a huge improvement to make me double dip...which I haven't done yet, but I wouldn't say it'll ever be out of the question!

This little witch is messin' with my mind :rock

Looks great, she shall be mine. I was annoyed when I though Ultron's heart was going to be an EX but great to see it's standard.

Dude... I usually love your stuff but you wrecked my weekend with this

Iron Man Mark 45... What a waste...

SAYS YOU!!

All jokes aside, even as a Stark-head I can say that's ridiculous. It should've been something epic and iconic and classic like Ripley or Luke for that matter

What a boring figure and garbage character design. She looks like some random emo chick on the street. Glad for the people who want her she is getting made.

I hate New 52 Harley's look so much. Bruce Timm's original design is way more iconic. I'm sure they could've pulled off the look but the DCCU is heavily based off the New 52 and TDKR so that's kinda unfortunate. I always thought Bruce Timm had a FANTASTIC understanding of the DC Universe but oh well.
