Boulder holder:

I *think* some are basing it on a overhead shot which doesn't appear to show the red top in question - This could be a continuity issue more then anything else, but I'm with those who say the HT get-up is indeed accurate.

Update:

Found it -

BUT if you look closely ( :naughty :naughty ) You can still see a thin line of red indicating the 'Boulder holder' :lecture

It's also totally under-rated. I could watch it any time. Possibly Will Ferrell's best role to date. A bit of comedy but not laid on too thick.

I'm inclined to agree. I don't think Ferrell has done anything that has surpassed that role. It's certainly one of my favourites, a real GEM but yeah is often under-rated. :dunno

As exciting as this Hot Topic or beach ball Harley Quinn.

Shes no more emo looking than Harley Quinn these days :dunno

:lol I can't even take that comment seriously with that picture of Quinn.

I'm not usually one to complain. The MCU has been so great about embracing the costumes from the comics, but in the instance of the twins they got lazy. I wasn't expecting Wanda to be rocking hot pink leotards, but was expecting more than this. She looks like a Nolan version of Scarlet Witch. Glad people love it, I'm in the minority I guess.

The way I see it, the twins were new to the 'game'. Least we forget that in the MCU Iron Man, Thor, Cap - Widow (etc etc) they have been in the game a long time. Take Widow - Her get-up in IM2 to how it was in AoU huge difference.

I think it would have been silly if from the get-go two young hydra experiential subjects had been kitted out with costumes that gave the impression they had been in the team as long as the others. The fact they are impromptu, basically civilian clothing was for me the right choice especially with the late change of side switch.

Scarlet Witch has long been a favourite of mine, but I have no real issue with the MCU adaptation as it is early days and there is plenty of time for the character to develop.

In terms of costume: For me the teaser at the end of AoU shows that it is a work in progress as one would expect, and we WILL get a more complete and mature get-up.

Well they were in casuals, the final Scarlet Witch outfit is much better

Looks good. I'm betting that the final headsculpt will look even better. Love the movie, so I will pre-order this!

Agreed. Well said!

Harley's Suicide Squad costume might be more visually striking but those exposed legs are going to be a beast for Hot Toys to pull off on an action figure.

As for SW her outfit really is her street clothes so of course she should look like a gal who could blend in to a crowd. I normally don't care for civilian superheroes but I'm making an exception with her.

As the story went, SW and QS were late additions to helping The Avengers, so having some awesome costume ready for them wouldn't have made any sense. As much as I love GotG, I hated how there were suddenly matching Ravenger outfits for the whole group, particularly for a tiny raccoon! So they happened to have a seamstress on board to quickly make some outfits for them did they?

I thought that was hilarious too :lol

Yeah they should have had some background midgets milling about on Yondu's ship earlier in the movie to at least try to explain why there were tiny outfits already on hand.

I am so buying this figure- she looks stunning! And the great part is the costume hides all the joints / looks statue like! Awesome!!! and preordered!!!
