He already said he'll do a second run, so no worries! Just keep an eye out.

There was another sculptor working on a Driver head, and he DID say it would be available eventually, so we'll see...

3 snips made a big difference!!! Not as big as the two snips my urologist made, but still a big difference. Much better hoodie adjustments!!!!!

I was frustrated at first, but now with the custom that's available, I'm happy. I'm no longer convinced Hot Toys can nail Driver's likeness. They failed with both Han Solo and Luke IMO. I'm getting a custom Han head and I'm praying for a Luke too. They do well with the classically handsome Marvel men, but seem to struggle with others.

Besides, I'm guessing we won't see a v2 for a while, and I'm too impatient to wait!

Interesting point...must be the square jaw.

This is how mine is displayed at the moment, I had a SS Deluxe Vader head lying around so even though its FAR from movie accurate I thought it would look cool. (Sorry for the bad cell pic)

Does his hood and shawl even really move when his head turns? In the film, that is. I honestly didn't seem to have a problem turning the head and futzing the hood to look right, in the given direction.

The only thing that I wasn't impressed with on this figure was the torso articulation. Has anyone found a way to make him do a proper crunch... without cheating and relying on the leg joints?

I was kind of thinking the same thing.

His hood is pretty big and loose and doesn't fit tightly around his head, such as like on a hooded sweatshirt, so would it realistically move all that much or turn with his head whenever he turns his head?

I can't get any screen grabs, but I would think the hood still likely moves a bit with the helmet as it's looser and lighter and the ability to turn with the shoulders/torso. The figure's hood is heavy, thick, and wired and does really restrict some of the more extreme side-to-side helmet movement, unless you're cool with the helmet looking at the inside of the hood. I haven't done any snipping, but I probably will.

These two seem to be the best ones I can find at the moment when just doing a "Kylo Ren" image search on Google. I'm not sure how much of a "head turn" we're talking about here, but he seems to slightly be turning his head to look in a particular direction.

Like can this image of the prototype be achieved without snipping the hood? Seems like the prototype had a much thinner material and maybe wasn't stitched.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Like this popular image for instance. He doesn't appear to be turning with his body at all, just his head and his hood appears to be turning with his head. I don't think this would be able to be achieved without snipping the hood.

However, like in the first screen grab I posted, his head appears to be slightly turning inside of the hood to look in a particular direction without the the hood moving with his head too much, if at all, as it appears to be straight and covering most of the right side of his mask in the direction that he's looking.

So I guess it all comes down to what pose you're trying to acheive with the figure. If you want a full on head turn like in the first image, it would probably be better to snip the hood. If you're going to slightly have it turned just to have it look like he's looking to any particular side, it doesn't look like snipping the hood would be necessary.

Yeah, the hood looks like it sits pretty loose on his head. Although in that scene, he appears to be swiveling his entire body/upper torso to turn and isn't just moving his head in a particular direction.

Let's get back to just talking about how awesome this guy is.

I snapped this photo last night, trying to replicate the famous laser bolt pose but it looks more like he's saying, "Have you ever just looked at the back of your hand...I mean really looked at it."
