Well, according to close up pictures of the stormtroopers in the visual dictionary book, the undersuit is indeed a rubberized material. It's not fabric.

Got mine today, he's my first FO trooper, articulation isn't as bad as it was made out to be but those viny/rubber arm sections worry me so sadly the traditional trooper pose won't be happening long term. They still look great on display though i should have the squad leader tomorrow.

I like this particular soldier best. I also distinctly remember him from the movie in 2 scenes.

How easily does the backpack go on?

Came across white glove guy's video of the Jakku trooper, looks great. I agree, I remember seeing this guy clearly in more than one shot. I think he even gets a close up.

I'm hoping I can pick this one up if its coupon eligible (I think they have to be "Now Shipping" to be valid?). I just want one FO Stormtrooper to go along with Kylo Ren, and I always like having more accessories like backpacks and binoculars, reminds me of what I loved about playing with GI Joes back in the day as a kid.

My two favorite was Jakku and Riot Trooper.....I pre-ordered the storm trooper / heavy gunner set prior to receiving squad leader(s) thinking I'd get them all. The rubber under suit killed the idea so I'll keep squad leader, storm and heavy gunner set and call it a day. If pieces can be found at reasonable prices, I may turn the two I'll get into the two I want

Yeah me too riot and Jakku.
Was thinking about getting the gunner and buy the backpack/rifle/goggles from Jakku but now there is the riot trooper too.
I dont thnk i would swap the accessories over and over again. So im probably getting Jakku on its own.
Now Do i get gunner and riot on their own or gunner set and add to the regular trooper the riot accessories.
Thing is that if i ever resale might be easier to sell the gunner and riot as separate figures than the gunner set... Dunno?
Im not even a fan of the movie but i always love armored futuristic soldiers -^^
