Hot Toys - MMS 333 - Star Wars Ep.VII - First Order Stormtrooper (Jakku Ex.)

Man these stormtroopers are gorgeous! These pictures do them justice. The variations of these guys could bleed my wallet dry. I'm looking to order my first couple of HT figures and can't make my mind up between this guy and the sandtrooper....any input? I'm gonna get a Kylo and then a Finn 2-pack down the road.

They are a surprisingly awesome figure on display for sure. I got the regular, now I'm addicted. This and the heavy gunner will be here next week. If you're not an OT junky and you're already getting other HT TFA figures like Kylo then I'd snag this one a.s.a.p. and wait on Sandie.

You need a Snowtrooper in your life. It's amazing.

If you have a Kylo, a FO Stormtrooper is a must.

You need a Snowtrooper in your life. It's amazing.

The flame will be as close as I get to a snow. Never liked them and don't really see a place for them in the series. For the OT I have tie pilot, space, sand and Luke in disguise. Snow has never called to me and wouldn't miss them if they weren't in any of the movies.

I'm liking this guy because of his scene time, the fact he's an exclusive and his extra accessories he has, but I can't help but be attracted by the massive blaster that heavy gunner has! If I were rich I would just buy both haha

I have both, but if I were to just get one, I'd get the Jakku Stormie in lieu of the Heavy Gunner. This guy is sort of an amalgamation of them all and then some. He has the shorter blaster (as opposed to the massive blaster HG has) like regular Stormies, albeit with the longer buttstock, the tactical vest (like the HG) and also the backpack and binoculars.

Can't really go wrong with either though. The massive blaster is also what makes the HG Stormie cool because it's a completely different weapon from the rest.

Yup. His guy was worth every penny. Stiff articulation is the only nit I have with him. Binocs and backpack are awesome. Love the magnetic feature. Just pops right on in the perfect spot. The bigger blaster should have been included with all troopers, IMO. So much nicer than the standard blaster.

To echo other posts, this guy is a beast. If I could I'd army build with him and just alter load outs for slightly different looks.

I'll get some crappy pics up this weekend. It's supposed to be sunny here in snowy Minnesota so we'll see if we can snap some well lit shots.

Now to order a Snowtrooper officer from Hong Kong.

You guys are killing me with all your reviews of this one. I got the plain as I wanted one to match the OT trooper, but this one looks the best to me. Also really want a weathered Finn trooper with the bloody helmet.

Funny, I was thinking about much tougher the body seemed to restrict the poses compared to the Squad leader. Figure is amazing, overall

got mine the other day and I love it. He's a beefy ******* too. Really sturdy. This is my only trooper from TFA I'm getting and I'm not disappointed.

I lurv this figure despite the limited articulation. He's pretty much a statue unless you remove the fat suit and little elbow coverings, which I may have to do. I mean, he has binoculars that he can't even look through.
