Oh that's right...I count him as a little different. He's a mean looking s.o.b...the flame trooper. I'll be picking up the snow trooper set for sure. I want the two pack of storm troopers for all they offer and the price savings for the pack but love the jakku one for the back pack and the vest is nice too.

Just got this figure in today. I have to say, it's probably my favorite Stormtrooper of the bunch thus far. He looks the most like a "soldier" to me with the tactical vest and the backpack. The sand base/stand is a nice touch also.

Correct.
To me, it's a testament to how detailed HT makes these things. Sometimes, scratches or dirt effect is intended to be there to add more verisimilitude to the figure and it ends up sometimes fooling individuals thinking that it's a defect.

Got mine today. Gorgeous figure. So mean looking. So much detail for a simple figure.

He's my favorite Stormie of the FO bunch.
My Jakku Trooper arrived today and I really like the figure. My first TFA figure and it truly is impressive - Hefty in weight and comes with just about everything needed to represent a First Order soldier.
The only thing I had to do was pop off his helmet/head and rest it on the ball joint. I didn't like the way it looked popped in all the way down, as it looked like he head no neck and/or was shrugging.
The backpack magnet is REALLY strong and makes for a solid join.
Still fiddling with the pose but this generic one helps show off all of the accessories.
I can see how these troopers can become... addictive...

The standard default pose looks fine to me also. Like you said, the troopers can kind of slowly get addicting. They're a lot more fun than one would think. I first got my Kylo, then because of that, acquired a regular FO Stormtrooper to go next to him. After that, got a Heavy Gunner to flank his other side and then got this Jakku one. I then realized that I may be done with FO Stormies after I started seeing a bunch of white in my display.
MAYBE one more with a First Officer. And then that's it. Seriously.

Excellent pictures! He's one awesome trooper. Also my first... but he'd be tough to top... except maybe by Flametrooper for sheer size and weight.

I know they charge $10 for double shipping, but they need to start adding that into the already high cost and just do this right the first time. Is there an option to select the $10 at the time of ordering? I do not see it. Sent them a rather scathing (but professional ie not freaking out) message, telling Mr Daniel that his usual response (to me know) of 'normal wear and tear' aint gonna work.
If that upside down sticker doesn't speak to their current QA level, nothing does. Nice touch there, Sideshowtoy!

My only other "planned" Trooper is the Riot Control that comes with Finn. The Flametrooper does look amazing, though... ughhh...
