Excellent question, gmoney. I was thinking the same thing but could not find anything on their website saying that the points would expire. My BD is coming up soon so I was hoping to combine the points as well. In previous years, I've been like The Buffinator and spent them almost immediately. Last year's is the only time that they have remained unused yet.

EDIT: I just sent an email to AE asking about the B-Day points. Will share their reply here.

Awesome, thanks for taking the initiative! I think Buff is probably right that there's no fine print, but it's always good to get confirmation from the horse's mouth.

My wasp came in today! Love the headsculpt. Looks even better in hand. I put her head on a poptoy-esque body for a civilian kitbash. Feels like it works better proportionally compared to a tbleague body. I may try it on a 25b when I get one in. Side by side, she is a bit shorter than the figure. The wingspan is huge!

Nice pics and nice Hope kitbash!!! :clap

Yes, I?m liking that too.

I found a cheap body and wanted to show off that incredible headsculpt but was completely unwilling to change up my Ant-Man & The Wasp pose so I jumped on that. Still not 100% sure on my Hope pose but I have her turned about 90? to show off some of those curves!

Final Round

Yes, very well done indeed! I have been considering the same thing myself. The HS is too good not to use, but the helmeted head with AM is also too iconic not to use.

How much did you pay for the extra body? I really just need the body with suit and boots. I can use the extra hands and helmet adapter from my current figure and the folded up wings too.

I wonder if Hot Toys would ever produce a Giant Man figure. I think a 12-foot tall version (equivalent of 1:3 scale) could work well.

I think you mean 2-foot tall. :lol

No, I mean 1:3 scale in the collecting world.
HT does have 1:4 scale bodies which are 18” tall. However that would only translate into roughly 9’ tall in 1:6 scale. Such a figure would only be a little taller than the HT Hulk, so wouldn’t really “read” as Giant Man.
A 1:3 scale figure body would be 24 inches tall (yes 2-feet), which would translate to 12’ tall in the 1:6 world. I think Scott was roughly that height in the truck scene in AM&W, so I think that would work.
Of course if HT developed a 1:2 scale body, it would be 36” tall. Which would convert to an 18’ tall 1:6 scale Giant Man.

Well spotted. Seems about right.

I?m pretty sure you?d have to have a 6 foot tall figure to be accurate to giant man next to the 12 inch figures.

Might just have to break down and put together an Antman costume for myself and pose with my figures. Lol

$90 and the body came with everything except hands, heads, and large wings. I didn’t need the neck adapter (meaning the folded up helmet) or the folded up wings but they were included. Good score In my opinion. Actually the seller even threw in the pym discs too!

He actually looks closer to 25' beside the truck. It's been a while since I watched the movie. So you'd probably need a 1:2 scale to come close to approximating that scene (still wouldn't be screen accurate but close enough).

Yeah, for the airport scene in CW you'd need a 1:1 scale. I wouldn't have any interest in something that big, but if someone really wanted that kind of a display, they could always pick up an Ant Man cosplay outfit and replica helmet and put it on a mannequin.

Holy ****, I just got this figure and her frickin shoulders and biceps are HUGE.

By comparison, Black Widow's arms are comically twiggy.

I am impressed.

If there?s one thing that this figure has got, and can?t be denied, is curves. The curves and the great headsculpt of Hope ?Evangeline Lilly?, is why I had to buy that parted out body. I?m not sure I?ll ever change my ?Wasp flying holding Ant-Man? which requires their helmets since they would be shrunken but not to use that amazing headsculpt plus showing off how nicely they ?sculpted? the figure body would be a shame as well.
