What better way to enjoy Hot Toys Jack Sparrow, watching At World's End right now :)

I really want to see AWE again. I only saw it the one time in the theater, and felt a little uneasy about it. I loved the end, but getting there was... well, I expected more I guess. I'm sure I'll like it better after multiple viewings. Some movies are like that.

I remember most people seemed to give DMC a hard time when it came out. But I've really come to love that one. However, I did come out of the theater wanting to see DMC again, but not so much with AWE.

AWE was my favorite out of all three. It was really cerebral and required you to pay attention not only to the action of the film but the dialogue of the characters. I plan to swing by Target today on the way home and pick up AWE on DVD :D

AWE blu ray is on it's way to me as we speak from Amazon. I only saw it once in the theaters as well and I really didn't know what to think. Curse of the Black Pearl is still my favorite. Geoffrey Rush did such an amazing job as Barbossa and his absence in number 2 was saddening.

When I left DMC and AWE, I felt let down, they're both more intricate plot lines than the first film, but I saw them both twice in theaters and once you have all the pieces of the plot and can just sit back for the ride, it's just fun.

I still haven't seen AWE. So when I watch it on DVD it will be the first time but based on what I've heard my expectations are a little lower than for the other two POTC movies.

Its funny, when I saw DMC in the theater I loved it right up until the final moments. Elizabeth's actions with tying Jack to the mast, even her dialogue "I'm not sorry" just seemed jarringly out of character. I left the theater scratching my head about the film's resolution.

Then when I saw AWE, I was unsure about my feelings about that film right up *until* the finale, which I *loved*. The final battle between the Pearl and the Flying Dutchman above the whirlpool was absolutely exhilirating and totally in the spirit of the entire first film. Probably my favorite sequence of the series, and it redeemed everything I was on the fence about for the second two films. I'm looking forward to picking it up later today.

Thanks for the images sachiel, this one really makes me feel like had the V1 figure's eyes been painted in a position more typical of Jack and not looking up into the eyelids like some of the POTC promo images, it would really look like Depp, which is where this new smirk face excels, the eyes are more as they should be to pull off the look.

Ugh.....that second sculpt is perfect.....the real question....do I get one and swap the AWE Jack head with the smiling one....or do I get two.........

Right around release, there are a couple sellers on ebay who make the Jack parts available. But, expect to pay a premium if you want the head, only.

I love both of these figures, and I almost cringe at thinking about negatives to them, BUT, the HT base body for them has shoulders that are just too wide, I think it's to give more posing ranges, but just looks too bizarre for Johnny, he doesn't have broad shoulders at all, when he just has a bandana on and no hat, from the base of the jacket to the top of his head almost forms a triangular shape, but the HT figure is squared off. It's a fantastic figure regardless, but if the shoulders weren't as wide and the jacket right, this thing would be absolutely breathtaking.

Well unless you want a duplicate you don't have to resort to eBay. The figure itself will come with two heads. The amount of money you'd pay to peacemeal everything but the second head though you might as well buy another. What Josh and I were referring to is removing the head from the already released AWE Jack Sparrow and replacing it with the smiling secondary Jack Sparrow head. Similar to the way people have done with the additional Superman head that came with the HT Clark Kent.
