Hot Toys- MMS 67 - The Dark Knight - 1/6th BATMAN (Original Costume) full spec+pics

I'm sure that'll be a point of variation with collectibles, some makers will want to make the variations more prominents, others more subdued. Whatever the actual suit, the Hot Toys figure looks damn nice, which is what I care for most.

It's to bad the mouth area doesn't look very correct on the HT new suit fig though.

The whole figure isn't 100% true to the film suit. HT made a sharp looking figure though, so I'm sold on it. The upper body armor is in pieces that the film armor isn't, the legs are more muted than the pattern on the film suit looks in promo images and such. Until in hand images show up of the TDK suited figure, there's no telling how it'll look though, HT often makes changes prior to the final product, usually for the best.

Well, the TDK Suit is completely bad-ass, new Bruce headsculpt too and you already have a great Tak Begins Figure. I guess you can always sell your Taks if you got both HT Figs.

Yup, unless you're a super Bat nut Josh, I'd just put the money into the TDK suit and keep the Takara figure you already spent good money on as your Begins suit figure.

I'm getting Begins and TDK suit from HT this go around because I'm a Batman nut and wanted a figure true to the proportions and such of Batman in the Begins costume, but otherwise, I'd just have gotten TDK suit myself, Takara is more than enough really.

Josh, just so you know, you can't buy direct from Hot Toys, that's why the site wouldn't allow you. I guess they have a local shop people can go to, but as far as global sales, it's all through other sites and companies.

Ya, you'll get taken care of for sure, no worries. Just to give you some info since I know you're not as nutty an HT follower as some of us haha.

TDK Batman figures and vehicles are all Japan Exclusives. Some dealers are getting them, like Toys2 and other places, but they're much harder than most HT releases to come by, so that coupled with people buying up multiples to sell at triple the price down the road and such are making these all hard to find. That, and Sideshow can't distribute them so that adds to the difficulty of finding this stuff in the U.S.
