It looks like the skin texture is still fairly prominent in the Bruce Wayne sculpt.

Very Schumacher-ish butt shot there icruise.

BUTT, the new body suit looks great. Yeah, there may be some off centerish knee details in posing it but I'm sure it can also be futzed/adjusted once in position, remember it is a body suit over a figure. The actual outfit folded in places too in extreme positions, any rubber body suit would, so I consider it a natural effect.

Not concerned about the head either, considering it is basically the size of your thumb.

More like 20 X, head is thumbsize... it'll look terrific.

Thanks for the link - glad they went for the lighter colored hair on Wayne instead of the dark blackish brown in the official pics.

Oh I know, but even in the smaller shots the detail sometimes makes him look a little sickly. But still, looking forward to seeing him in hand. If its terrible its not like its much of a loss... but hopefully its useable.

Just ebay'ed this from animate_internationals. Got a pretty good deal on it and it should ship soon as it is in stock. I have the DK Batman and the Batpod on preorder through Toys2.net. All I need now is the Joker...I think I will hold out for a second version...

Not to quibble, but I think something 20x the size of your thumb would be the size of a large watermelon. But regardless, I'm sure it will look better in person.

???? The Tak head is smaller, has a different neck joint toggle thing and it's hollow soft vinyl. Plus the Sculpt here is great, has more eye detail, great eyes, the Cowl is one piece not cut neck joint like Taks...

I don't understand why you would even think about doing that but that's just me...

And based on a profile image I saw earlier, other than a slightly longer neck to accommodate the HT base body, this cowl is spot on in design to the film. Taks is great but idealized. I'm buying this HT Batman to have as a film accurrate figure of the suit and keeping Tak Batman as a great Batman figure, the only mixing I may try is the cape, but until I get the HT one and see for myself what it's like, I can't make that call.

I must say, afther some comparisons with promo pictures of Batman begins, you are right.
Except for the chin, it is a little bit too pointy...also the piece of the mask between the 2 holders of the cap is a bit to low...
but that is about it

I noticed that the HT "stand" is different.

I wonder if they'll offer these in general because they'd help a lot on the older figures especially the Preds.

Looks good. The suit appears to be more rubbery than the movie version which may limit the posing.
