So, Hot Toys / Sideshow just did a weird thing. The specs/pics just got updated.

On the 14th the back view of the figure had the PERS panel on the back of the head along with the old trash bag cape.

Today I was looking and the photo solicitation pics completely changed. Now the back of the head is the all new cowl and the new cape. No more panel.

Nice catch! They must have got word of their mistake and updated it; possible they were using the old back as a placeholder image for their layout and just forgot to update it.

I think the size is fine, maybe a tad bit undersized but it depends on what version of the gun people want them basing it off of. The prop that actually shot out a grapple hook or the one that just looked pretty and didn't do anything.

The Hot Toys version and the one in your photos is based on the the prop that didn't function. The one that did shoot out a "grapple" was a much thicker and blockier version, which I kind of prefer since you see it more often in the movie than the other version.

Doubt this is anything that they'll change though nor is it really a problem. Just a difference in the various props used in the film.

I’m just saying, Hot Toys could do more.

Now we know we’ll never get an accurate Battle Damaged Batman or an improved accurate body suit (that isn’t a one piece rubber suit) so the least they could do is give people more bang for their buck.

This isn’t 2012 anymore. How about a Batarang that folds?

Even NECA included the Cathdral attachment.

I liked how innovative they got when it came to Affleck Batman, Armory Batman, Returns Batman and Kilmer with all the different attachment hooks and attachments.

I am surprised that they didn't bother to include a bendy wire grapple hook with this release. Something to stick at the end of the gun to mimic it shooting out.

That new standard base looks good. It’s the Returns one with the movie logo repainted.

Hated the generic symbol on the DX08 and DX09 one. Too comic booky and the inverted yellow and black didn’t make sense.

Man, you're right. Didn't even notice the difference in the base until you mentioned it. I'm glad they updated this since I literally just made my decision to get the standard version over Deluxe.

No idea what I'm going to do with a random high heel shoe lol...

They didnt change the scale on the batmobile so will the bigger figure if it is fit in the batmobile?
