Wah! Sideshow apologists! :monkey2

You can make the monkey cry all you want but it's a fact. Same goes for Hellboy and Iron Man. Sideshow holds the 1/6 figure license, goes to HT and has them make them, we get awesome toys. Also, why are you surprised to find fans of Sideshow on a site called Sideshow Freaks?

Sideshow should just hand all of their 1:6 licenses over to Hot Toys from now on since they produce superior products. Sideshow can stick to PF's.

Well, if it wasnt for SS, HT wouldnt have this license. So....suck it Trebek.

Since Hot Toys is now producing a Planet of the Apes line, and if you haven't seen them they are mouth watering, maybe we can get them to release a set of figures based on the Apes TV series. Their email is
[email protected]

Email them and ask for the Apes TV series figures!

Take a look under the figure. It says Sideshow Website, Toy Hunters VIP and Japan Toy Fair. Didn't notice the Toy Fair before though.
That explains it. Any dealer buying figures direct from Hot Toys might be under the guise of a VIP, which would explain why these will be available fairly readily outside the three areas mentioned above. Their bigger Asian distributors would most likely fit the bill.

I'd like to see a Gorilla Sergeant with a different headsculpt in the next wave. If they can keep the prices low enough, I'd seriously considered doing a little "army building".

Okay..the "real" fur is growing on me, and Ursus is a must-have. Damn HT anyway, I'll be in bankruptcy court for sure at this rate...PS

The Sideshow ones were never valuable. I picked mine up for a song.
La La La La la, can I have them now? :lol

Then give a little to Sideshow because I very much doubt that without them HT would be doing Apes.

I concur. I have never been shy about my feelings towards a piece, be it good or bad, but hat's off to Sideshow for their part in getting this underway and helping to make it possible.
THANK YOU, SIDESHOW.
