The trouble is when you see the eyes, something about how they've painted them or photographed how they painted them make him look posessed or something in some of the shots, or almost like the black oil people on the X-Files, for those who follow that show.

Yes and I think thats it, just sucks that 2 small pupils are throwing it off for me. I have to admit with the slew of new pics i'm starting to kind of see Bale. Its an all around fantastic looking piece but the eye area I would assume will be tweaked for the better.

Yeah if it weren't for the eyes, I would be filling the cup...hopefully Ht tweaks them like they did with the Godfather and Dutch.

I have no doubt and am actually convinced as to why they release so many prototype images. They recieve the feedback and make the tweaks, hehe I get it now! Hot Toys you guys are pretty sharp I must admit.

So todays board meeting at Hot Toys is? "Fix the damn eyes"!

I've never pre-ordered before - normally wait for them to come to play.com in the UK, but I've taken the plunge with this one. shame about the import duty.

If I were you I wouldn't sweat it and just wait for play.com to stock them, I can guarantee you it will not sell out. The Predator and Dutch are still easily available and both are super popular items.

The global economy is really starting to take effect.

I think the eye thing is starting to grow on me, Devil666 posted a pic in another thread lighting up the pic somewhat and I think it helped. It actually looks pretty damn decent although I never once said it didn't look awesome.

It was the eyes and more so the pupils that messed me up. It is a great sculpt after all, I knew it would take me some time to see it.

Its $139.99 at SS and for the most part the 2 are usually almost identical in price. Oh that and Toys2 will most likely have them about 4 weeks before SS will.
