there was no T3.

I knew that was coming.

If you take the Sarah Connor Chronicles as canon, then no, T3 didn't happen. It was a "what if" movie. Which is kinda awesome. The Terminator series has been about changing the future by messing with the past. T3 was going to happen, but they sent Cameron, John, and Sarah into the slightly distant future and prevented T3 from happening. Very clever actually.

That said, this looks like a great figure.

Nick Stahl was alright, but I have no attachment to T3. Edward Furlong isn't anything special either, but I love T2 and he's the focal point of the plot so it's a shame having all the mains from that film but him.

As far as this Bale Connor, I like Bale as an actor and I like the JC gear, that's why I'm getting this one. If the film or at least Bale's Connor rocks, all the better.

Figure looks great, I'm gonna wait to see if there is an exclusive though... seems to be the trend recently for a pre-order and then a couple weeks later we get the exclusive version.

If no exclusive then I'll just get one cheaper from a retailer. $140's a bit high, but it is an awesome looking figure so I'll adjust.

Of course when something became so popular as a catchphrase and used for 15 years it sounds lame now. It was fine at the time. I will hear no T2 bashing. Almost a perfect film, along with T1. God I miss the days of kickass Arnold movies.

Yes and if I were to factor in shipping and the exchange to CDN I would be looking at $200. No joke. I just can't do it anymore unless its something I can't live without. I also never bought Two Face for the same reason.
