If done right, having a little kid turn out to be a terminator could be very emotional. I mean take something cute and innocent and have it turn out to be one of the most unstoppable killing forces in film. Again, it has to be handled right. I trust it is, or else Bale would be like what the ^^^^ is this are you ^^^^ing serious.

I would want it to be a sort of robo-dystopian version of the end of Night of the Living Dead. Going into the basement to see that little girl chewing on her father was just amazing. If it's something along those lines where terror and innocence are conflated to produce a really unnerving effect (as unnerving as finding out a little girl is a killer robot can be, since the eating of flesh is sort of hard to top) then I'll be even more than satisfied, I'd regard it as a really interesting twist.

Does anyone have a higher res of this image. When they first showed this teaser I thought his jacket was black. I'd like to see him with a swat jacket.

I think the jacket in this photo is either from another part of the film, or an early test model, it does look black but it also looks cloth, not leather.

While it's cool, I don't know of any clips that have shown it present in the film though.

the idea has been done before in another sci-fi - screamers, starring robocop. if a lousy film could come up with that idea, shouldn't mcg think up a better one?

I can't wait for this figure, I really don't care about his film presence, I just find something so cool about the gear, the weapons, the expression on his face.

Same here, I'm getting him because he is a great looking figure.

I would prefer a figure of THIS John Connor.

At one point, I feard Sideshow would make that and it'd be a kick in the balls never getting this.

Edward Furlong T2 is the only figure I desire because it's John Connor, he's the most important character in the T story, and we don't have one in 1/6 for our T2 collections.

I don't really care for the look of old John in T2, so I'd never buy that.

Bale Connor, regardless of who it is, is just a cool looking figure to me, but being tied to one of my favorite franchises adds that little bit to make him buy worthy. Even if the film sucks, I think he'll blend well with my Terminator/Alien/Predator collection. If I thought he'd be a misfit in there and the movie sucked I'd pass because I'd have a lone figure from a sucky movie.

An Edward Furlong John Connor figure would be quite interesting....I had never thought of that. I can imagine it coming with an endo arm and chip accessories....or maybe even his laptop.

If Hot Toys did a T2 line including young John, I'd be all over it. They would have to give me a Hot Toys quality T-Arnold, T-1000, and definitely Sarah first though. Sideshows were okay when they came out, but next to the newer Hot Toys stuff, they got whipped :chew

Sadly, I don't see a young John in an HT line, unless they could use Sideshow's Hobbit body or develop something themselves, they don't currently have a body small enough for John.
