Some people who've ordered from SSC have gotten their 15-18 day notices exactly a week ago, so JC should be shipped out between 1 - 2 weeks at the latest. I can't guarantee it, but Alter Ego should be shipping theirs out shortly after that.

My Toys2 order processed recently so hopefully I'll have him by next week.

Some people who've ordered from SSC have gotten their 15-18 day notices exactly a week ago, so JC should be shipped out between 1 - 2 weeks at the latest. I can't guarantee it, but Alter Ego should be shipping theirs out shortly after that.

If sideshow is shipping theirs out soon, im probably going to cancel with alter ego. Every one tells me how great their customer service is , but ive had some bad experences with them so far!

my order from toys 2 says "processed" since the day i paid for it...do they send you an email with tracking or something? I've got nothing so far..

Yes Toys2 have automated 'Processed' emails as soon as you order. They then send an ''order completed'' email when they drop it off at whatever posting centre they use. I wouldn't be worried. I understand they're a small shop and probably do not have the capability to ship all orders at once. I'm not sure how they go about orders, if its first ordered/first served or what. Once I get mine I stop paying attention!

It was fine until the 24 when it stated it had left the country of origin and the status was 'advised' (this is through parcel force's website) does anyone know what advised means I've never had it before.

I'm in Australia and I have received goods from China and Hong Kong via EMS several times. I was quite impressed with the amount of information gleaned from the tracking page and it never took longer than 10 days to get my goods. Bloody Australian Customs were the worst culprits in slowing down the process.

I think it just means that the courier and customs have been notified of the package. I think it's pretty standard, hopefully it won't mean customs charges or anything

I've been hit with customs a few times. Usually ordering stuff from America. In the past the parcel has been stated as it has entered the country before customs charge and hold your parcel so i doubt that it is that. I just hope they haven't lost it and that's why it's taking so long to enter the country. It's usually the next day it states it's been accepted.

Yeah I've been hit a few times too with charges, it seems to be a bit of a lottery sometimes with bringing stuff into the UK, especially EMS Speedpost, but then again I might just be a bit unlucky at times.

Not too sure about the whole "Accepted" thing. I suppose the only thing I would think to do is contact parcelforce and see what they have to say, of course it might just be a glitch in the matrix and something hasn't updated. Hang in there though, I'm sure it hasn't been lost or anything.

As long as the item I'm getting into canada is marked as gift, there's no customs charges whatsoever, but if it's marked with it's value then they tack on a HEFTY bloody fee, and those fees hurt.
