I'm willing to pay extra, I wish HT would just never use Velcro, for some reason, the kind they use is the weakest I've ever seen. Sideshow uses it lately on some belts, and it's about the same physical size as some of the recent HT figures using it and it's much stronger, but HT's is weak, it's weak on Jokers, it's weak on Dutch, just very cheap, glad they did snaps this time around, I actually removed the velcro and put on snaps on my v1, the thing would open up with slight posing and everytime it opened, the velcro weakened.

Ah okay. I remember seeing that pic too. Must not have analyzed it. Funny it's much more noticable in those pics yet I didn't notice them the first time. Now this darker, less noticable pic comes up and I notice them.

It's all good. The only thing that concerns me (slightly) is the pics you posted are current.. yet to me.. everything looks the same. No updates. Nothing new. With a window of a month and a half (excluding a delay) it seems a little weird since most of us were expecting some kind of update regarding changes HT said they were making to the costume. Hmmmm. I also noticed with Joe's update (Mista305) there's no mention of this figure at all!?

For some reason, Hot Toys seems not to put up slight changes and updates in their displays, TDK Batman was such an overhaul they did that, but small stuff they don't seem to.

Two-Face's paint job changed in production, but the Toy Hunters display did not, it was always the original prototype, we didn't know Two-Face was even changed until someone had him in hand.

There's room for concern, but until someone posts a picture of the figure that comes in the box, I wouldn't worry about what has or hasn't changed.

True.. and normally it wouldn't bother me since I know HT usually does that. I guess my concern stems from what's been reported by (I think!?) Buttmunch that HT does plan on releasing some updates to this figure before it ships. At least that's what I remember. So with the release date looming.. seems weird that those supposed updates still haven't been shown. Which to me, means a possible delay.

To me, it's them giving Buttmunch a BS job just to shut him, yes sure updates, coming soon, no worries. I imagine many emails have come into them and umpteen postings on Facebook on this figure, they're probably just saying anything to shut people up at this point.

I'm optimistic that there's no more a delay than has already happened, and there will or won't be updates to the figure.

More than updates, I just want quality assurance that the final coat is indeed purple, and not black purple, but purple, clear as day, no denying it, not squinting to notice the purple, just plain, visibly purple.

I Know the DCD comes in December,but when does Hong Kong get it.I really hope that DCD waits a few months to announce DX Bats,because with this fig and Absolute Justice ron pre-order at my LCS,I can't do anymore til those are payed.

Has there been any info/confirmation on the outer jacket being wired or not? In the earlier pics it certainly looked as though it was wired, but this latest pic seems to show the jacket hanging a lot more naturaly and doesn't look wired to me.....

Still looks wired to me, the way the opening curves on the right side and the way it rolls down from the grenades on the left side looks assisted by wire to me, if there weren't a wire, I imagine the grenade side would stick out almost straight and look goofy, and the right side would probably flow straighter, the wire would help it flow more naturally looking as it does. If it's not wired, then they've done something really special because it behaves more like a 1:1 coat would than a lot of 1/6 clothing items.

He looks insane in these slightly newer pics! Something looks different to me, tie isn't it? Is that the only changes they made To be honest, i'd be over the moon if it looked like that, but would prefer them to fix the blue undercoat at least, it is SO wrong! This HAS to be shipping soon right!
