got to hand it to them with the tie, looks mad accurate, how can they get such a small scale intricate pattern so perfect, yet big things (read, the blue undercoat, i couldnt care as much about the purple anymore) totally wrong

HT have had a real problem with some of their most recent releases in terms of paint. It's something that they need to address, and fast, especially with the work from Enterbay being better than even some of their most stellar work.

I'm sure the paint apps on the cop Joker in the tokyo toy show display has a paint job that mimics the quality of the one in HT's Toy Hunters store display. These are all prototypes, probably, not factory manufactured, so if you're complaining about the paint apps now, you should retroactively ^^^^^ about the toy hunters display figure - thw pics of which have been around for months.

I will agree, however, that if there was a time for HT to step up their paint jobs, it would be NOW. With Enterbay breathing down their neck and the specter of Connor's botched factory paint lingering in our minds, they're flirting with negative perspectives in the eyes of obsessive fans.

Thanks Snake :) One thing i've always found, is that a simple adding of more brown to the hair instantly gives it that undeniable Heath likeness, plus, it just looks better, because in the film, rarely was his hair ever bright vibrant green 95 percent all over, it was usually the dark brown/light tinge, with just green tinted tips and ends.
At this rate, i'm still also hoping, if they only fix ONE thing, it's the blue undercoat. Just adds so much more accuracy to the figure. All my colors are overly vibrant on purpose, but you get the idea :p
Tinted the vest, shirt, tie, gloves, jacket, sport coat, pants, hair, made the makeup worn, darkened the shoes for the less concreter look :p Hmmm, do i dare buy another headsculpt and have it repainted messier and darker hair?

Those changes add so much. I have a feeling though we (the ones who really want the changes) are all going to be depressed when all we get is an updated tie.

Please Hot Toys, make me eat my words.

I dunno about the darker hair, imo I think the bank robber interrogation sculpt would have benefited from being somewhat brighter green than the muggy green colour we did get. I prefer the hair colour on this DX sculpt but that's just my 5 cents :)
