The first pic has been re-colored though. I showed how it was done somewhere in this thread. On one of the hundreds of pages.. it's in there. I ain't looking.

All the shots with that kitchen background have been re-colored.

Well, I'll still take muted purple like the convention coat over non-purple black like the v1.

Yeah I mean it's not super purple.. ok. But I've yet to see a pic in any lighting, from Toy shows to the Toy Hunters store where the coat looked too dark or black. And that was my main concern with the coloring. It'd be nice if it were more purple but like you said, better to have a muted purple than an almost black v.1 coat.

Yup, you've got light and muted, correct color, and dark and lost. If they're going to miss the mark, missing towards the lighter side will still look closer to correct than dark.

Who knows though, just because that's how the coat on the floor model looks doesn't mean it's how our figures will look.

John Connor's coat looked all dirtied and battle worn on the floor models and prototype, yet as far as I can see in any in hand shots, it's much cleaner and newer looking.

I think the amount of weathering we're seeing on the Joker floor models is more than the production piece will have.

Weathering on the coat looks great. And if it does come out this color I will be a disappointed, but still over all WAY better than the V1 black silk coat.

Agreed. Still a little disappointed if the purple is that dull though.

Wow, Billy's tie is awesome, never seen such a clear photo.

As for the shirt color, it really depends on where you see it, in lockup it looks same as Billy's.

This also looks more like Billy's

I think color comes down to personal preference, I prefer it on the bluer side like HT's tried and Billy captured.

I actually decided to watch the special features disc 2 last night and saw more blue than a purple shirt 98% of the time. Just like Billy's.

It must have been the lighting or something or another shirt used in some of those other scenes that showed it a weird washed purple. Weirdness.

I actually now prefer it blue as well after seeing so many behind the scene looks from it. Seeing the true look of how it really is.

Yep, this guy is connected, let me tell ya. I ordered a Medicom Spidey comic version (which are as rare as a pope's dump) from him and when it got here it had one of its hips broken. Called him up and told me he would exhange it, even though he had none in stock. He managed to find me another brand new one and sent it to me along with my Mark I. Awesome service. Toy Square will get all my business from now on.
