The biggest problem I'm seeing so far with all these pics is Flash and Re-coloring/Color disparity. It makes it hard to really know what the true colors on the figure, etc are. For instance these two pics:

Purple

No Blue

Also these:

No It's Dark Again (From the same person as the above pic)

So I'm not sure how bright/dark the coat and clothes are. Also not many shots so far of the little emotions.. er I mean details. :lol

What do the socks look like? The waist chain? Suspenders!? Back of the vest?

Overall I like the figure, but I'd be lying if I said I was blown away so far. Because I'm not. Kinda disappointed actually that HT made it seem like they were fixing so much about the figure and now we can all see the only change made from proto to finished product is the tie. And we all knew about that since the Tokyo Toy Show. The coat liners are still red, the undercoat is still grey, the shirt appears to still be too white, etc. And all this after HT saying "You won't be disappointed" when specifically asked about the changes I listed.

Devil, go to the link above, full comparison of 1 and 2. They have me worried about the purple coat, I'm still crossing fingers it looks close to this in my hands.

The comparison shots look almost navy blue and darker than the v1.

I will say, I am glad to see the tweaks on the tie, vest and pants though, i really expected them to just be recycled and they're improved a bit each so kudos on that.

Maybe they were trying to go for fabric quality as much as color, maybe it really is from the same fabric as the prop, but on a figure, the coloration doesn't appear to come out the same. It really should always be quality of the figure first and foremost and if some authenticy of things is lost to get that, oh well. I'd rather a soft fabric like v1 but right color than the right texture and wrong color. It's puzzling too when a figure like John Connor comes out looking dead on to the movie and then you get things like this coat and Jack Sparrow's coat.

Every new pic makes it come back and keep looking at this... Mine should be shipped out in next few weeks but still hard to look at him and know I want have him still for a few weeks but hey I waited this long right... An Godfather gets her tuesday... Looking foward to that...

I'm glad my V1 doesn't have lapels like that they're like B52 wings

Mine are, it's a neat look for a Joker coat for like a custom or something, but it's just so goofy looking to be representing a coat made in an everyday style like Nolan's costumes.

Don't know if there's a wire in the coat or not, but glad to see if there isn't the lapels don't need it like it seemed from some of the official photos at the start of this thread.

That's half the problem with the lapels on the v1, yes they're oversized and run too high onto his shoulders, but their sticking up in the air is really what makes it noticable.

Accurate pictures are tough and with the many variables, like the pictures above certainly suffered from incorrect white balancing, I am still trying to find the right way of doing things.
As for fabric I think one needs to be realistic that the original fabric of the shirt and tie were too complex to scale down accurately and certainly are custom work costing a bundle so I am not surprised they won't change it so we are lucky that the tie had gotten better. I am overall amazed by this work but then I am easy to please... for now..... now just the waiting

Indeed, which is why I hold out hope, but where there are pictures of it with the v1 pieces and I have my own v1 to compare with the photos, you can get a good estimate, which is why I am a little concerned, the v1 coat looks brighter in those photos than my coat and the v2 looks darker than it in those same photos, so if it's already that dark, how dark it'll be in hand with my v1 has me nervous, though some v1's came out darker than others it seemed.

May be old news but it's new to me, buddy. I just always assumed that a DX would have all the bells and whistles, and that would have included a second PERS head. I wish they'd have just charged more and be done with it.
