Yeah, you have all the reason mate. the machin gun is from the BR Joker.

I didnt remember it :D I still have all of them in their boxes :banghead

It really is a shame on HT's part for not including the machine gun with the DX Joker, it came with the BR beacuse it should have come with the very first figure and didn't, the DX was supposed to give you everything the purple costume Joker could need if you missed out on the v1 and BR figures, you still need the BR or to eBay the gun to have a complete HT Joker if you want all the accessories they've made. Sure you could argue about the banker's shotgun and the RPG, but those weren't made, with the machine gun already made, it is strange they ommitted it from the DX set.

with so many online sites doing preorders for DX joker alll saying 4th quarter....does anyone know who is going to be getting them in late oct or early november for the price of like $160-$170....toys2 is sold out and thats where i usually get my stuff. Help would be appreciated? how about big bad toy store...are they usually prompt? Thanks

That's what dx02 is for, of course.

Does anyone know what the miny safety pins are for that come with the figure? I thought they were for the grenade rig but it dosen't seem to need them?

BBTS will be getting their stock from DCD, which means months after HK shipments, currently slated for December, but if DCD is pushed out like HK shipments were, then it'll be more like February-March.

I don't know of anyone besides eBay dealers, HK stores and Toys2 that will be getting this figure in the next few weeks, everywhere else is getting it months later from DCD shipments that I know of.

I believe they're decorative for the grenade rig, not functional. I don't have the figure but I blieve the rig had pins and his rope looks almost like purple yarn in the movie, I think HT included them for looks but because of scale, they're not for function.

Bingo -- we have a winner.

Safety pins were used to hold the Joker's grenade rig in the movie. You can see them clearly when he first reveals his grenades.

Just wondering, although I've asked already but does/has anyone ordered from beautyzones on ebay? I havent dealt with them before and have yet to get a shipping date or anything else from them but its only been a few days. Should I be worried?

Here's some screen caps I took awhile ago when we were discussing the inner coat color. :lol

That would be too, though repainting the gloves to be the right color is much more easily done than trying to correct fabric.

I have a hard time imagining that based on photos, but if that's true, I will be one very very happy Batman fan.

I was admiring how awesome the purple looked on him yesterday. Photos can be very deceptive as I'm sure you know. In hand, he even changes color based on lighting in your room, you can take him from one corner to the other and if the lighting is different your coat color will be too.

the 'real' color of the coat is hard to tell, but in normal room lighting conditions its about the same as those screen caps, perhaps SLIGHTLY darker. In sunlight its a nice vibrant purple. Trust me you'll be happy.

PS
-the grenade rig can't sit in the coat while closed. It just sticks out way too much. If you remove the grenades, for some reason it's still a bit puffy. Kinda bothers me but I'm just letting it loose its shape and drape a bit more properly. The wires at the bottom of the coat definitely help. If you want to pose Joker as is with knives, gun or cards, you might want to wait to attach the grenade rig.

-I repainted cop joker's head. Well not really, just added a very very faint white wash to help bring out some detail and give him some faint traces of makeup. He looks a lot better with a slightly paler hue! I also think the dark bags under his eyes could use a slight touch up. Cop Joker is really wonderful, in the end I think his menacing look is almost cooler than the regular Joker.

BTW, not trying to be distrusting of your word, just pretty much dreamt that the coat would come out the shade of purple it appears in the mob meeting and hearing that under standard conditions, it can look that way in hand really got my excited, but I like to play things tone down until I find out for sure, just to make sure i'm not let down by my own self-built hype :lol
