I'm really looking forward to agen's pic of the joker, I've always enjoyed his photos

A very understated figure that got overshadowed because it came together with the friggin purple coat. That's why it didn't get much love and respect from all youse
But seriously, I'm more in awe of the cop joker than the pers joker.

Colours are still not vibrant enough, but it is an improvement on the v1.

Here's some screen caps I took awhile ago when we were discussing the inner coat color.
It changes alot through the film depending on what light hits it and what filters they use etc. I just got material to redo mine (and possibly offer the service) but i went with the more faded out and notably more orange color like this shot. Or like the photoshop there ^ It just looks better, the red pictured like your shots, is close enough to the figure to leave it, yet the figure just looks plainly wrong. A more drastic change to an orange hit is worthwhile changing to however, imho
The figure looks horrible. Since when is it a rich dark blood color HT? Really?!Btw the coat color. It seems ok in pics. Just OK. It basically matches the V1 color and pictures prove it, side by side. I think also the material used (while correct) is too big a scale to suit 1/6th. Like the fibres and texture look too loose and not tight enough. Compare it to real pics and you'll get what i mean. Obviously, huge OCD type nitpick probably to most, lol, but it's still the truth

Well my shipment of Joker DX parts turned up today, and I'm very pleased with what I've got.
The coat is wonderful. The main improvement is that it's a much, much better cut then the previous version. The lapels are actually set on the shoulders properly, rather then halfway back as on the other one. The colour is okay, and the lining I can live with. I just wish the fabric wasn't so darned creasey. Mine turned up with on large crease running across his shoulders on his back, which I'm having a problem getting rid of.
When it comes to the pants, well I love the suspenders, but I don't like how incredibly narrow legged they are, so I think for the time being at least I'll be sticking with the originals.
My god, aren't those safety pins tiny! Beautiful little touch though. Methinks I might end up buying more just to add to my Punk Spike custom.

Agreed. Iunno it's just frustrating because HT did everything right as far as the hard part with the costume: Tailoring. I haven't seen any complaints about the DX Costume as far as tailoring minus people thinking the pants are too tight. But in reality the pants are only tight in comparison with the v1 pants. Because the Joker's pants in TDK were pretty damn tight.
HT just made bad fabric color choices. And that's what sucks. Because you'd think THAT would be easy and nailing the tailoring would be difficult. And it's not for lack of reference material because HT had more than enough including stuff from us.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with blakus939.
PERS is neat, but in a lot of photos so far, it hasn't been utilized to its fullest potential, the sculpt is essentially BR over again so there's not a whole lot new to day about it and the Cop Joker came out great, other than a quick "hey it looks great", there's not much to say about it until you have your own in hand to say things you really like about it.

Well to me the sculpt is more than just BR over again, I think the expression is quite different actually - the differences are subtle but together they make an impact. I particularly like that the hair has been sculpted to look much thinner at the front, which looks more accurate. And the hairline has been adjusted and is also more accurate.

Yeah, side by side there are a lot of subtle differences, the hair has much more detail, the nose is now closer to Ledgers, it's subtle but the tip is broader. The scaring under the bottom lip isn't quite as pronounced and the lips are in a slightly more pursed expression.
