Maybe you are right but also take a look at the other pics... It simply looks like a wire... I admit the pic mentioned wasnt the best proof... Heres a better example...

New "make up" paint scheme on BR head IMO.

It is the BRJ sculpt, but it definately looks like it has been tweaked a bit. The lower half of the face looks different.

Hard to tell, but I think I agree that it is a tweaked BR head. The mouth position is the same, but clearly the hair has been changed and the eye holes are larger (which really make it look like a new sculpt). Just goes to show how much paint can do.

That may also explain how the lapels look nice and flat in some shots and not so much in others, if the wire runs up that hole seam, should allow you to press them flush to the body instead of popping up. Kudos to HT if they did indeed work this in.

Hate being redundant, but after comparing pics, this is definitely the BR sculpt with new hair and a repaint. And from some angles, the Cop Joker looks great. It just seems a bit off from an direct straightforward angle. I do see Heath there though. Ah well, STILL LOVE IT.

Well, unfortunately, because of the material used in the film, in the mob meeting, it is more a read looking shade than red orange. Yet, in the Prewitt building, the red orange color that it is comes through. Red would even be OK, not right, but OK if it weren't as pure and vibrant, it really stads out, especially when the outside of the coat is so dull a purple, v1 or the new DX coat. In the movie, the outside purple and inner color were balanced, they didn't contrast so much but on the figure, it's pretty strong.

What are you expecting? It is suppodes to be the same person (Heath Joker)... unless we wont get a smiling version the heads have to like similar...

I would say at least the area around the mouth seems to be another expression... But we have seen it quite often on this board that a great paintjob can change a head completly so you might be right too.

Yep I said that myself, look at Les' different Joker paint jobs. Amazing how they change the expression of the head. And I wasn't expecting anything new, Yulli got it right the first time

It's very similar, but then again it should be since it's Ledger Joker and roughly the same facial expression, but I'm looking at my BR head now and the look of the wrinkles around his lower eyelids are different on the new head, the shaping of his mouth area is different. I really think it's a full new head, but Yulli's heads tend to look very similar. Rambo 3 and Rambo M65 are quite similar in the face.

This shot in particular shows differences in the mouth. On the BR, the upper lips pretty much runs like a straight line accross his face, on this new one, it curves like a slight smile.

that sucks....why can't they do the movable eyes for both head sculpts?
Most probably, after a few months you will hear news of a 4th version with a improved cop joker sculpt with movable eyes & a nurse joker....

May be its hard to hide the 'eyes tricker' or the cop hair style is really hard to make it removable without looking awkward. This base on my guess that the eyes moving system can be access by removing hair.

Hey, for people who have preordered from Toys2--when you pay with a credit card and it preauthorizes does it keep the preauthorization on the card until it ships or does it go away after a few days like most online retailers?

It goes away after like 4-5 days, sucks because it ties up your money for that period, but it does go away. If you still see it after a week call your bank or Toys2 because that's not right.

True, but it could also be the angle.

I know it's a far away shot but the mouth here seems to be in the same position as the BR Joker. Paint and angle definitely play a factor. I think it may be tweaked, and her sculpts do look similar, but Hot Toys also seemed to avoid saying it was a new sculpt (other than the new make-up) in the description, calling it "An interchangeable and new make-up Joker head featured with Parallel Eyeball Rolling System (PERS) and Translucent Iris." When Yulli resculpted Bruce for the TDK release, they wanted everyone to know it was an entirely new sculpt.
