Time. Usually the HT shipment comes out months before the DCD shipment. This time, there isn't really a significant time difference. Especially not to warrant the extra money you have to spend for the HT shipment.

I kinda wish I'd know this would happen like this, I could have waited another month to save some money, I went with an HT shipment feeling the extra cash was worth not waiting an extra 3-5 months to get the figure, which had he come out in July/August as scheduled, it would have been, and I would have thought the gap would still remain when the HT got pushed out, so would DCD, I guess it goes to show figures that have that 3-5 month gap probably have it for no reason other than they just do, if DCD and HT can be so close to each other on this deluxe set, a basic figure should be no sweat either.

Yeah it's weird. The gap between the HT and DCD shipment for Two-Face was horrible. :lol

Yeah, I was real glad to go HT with that one, I probably would have lost interest or caved and spent a boat load to get him faster if I'd had to wait like people that went DCD for him did, that's what I feared with this Joker.

Received my DX Joker today from Singapore seller, very satisfied to say the least. Pictures not necessary, previous posts cover the awesomeness of this fig.:banana

i got mine today! picked it up locally!!

This is the best 1/6th figure in my collection!!

I love the headsculp on both the police version and regular joker
I love the display base that lights up, i love everything about this 2in1 figure! it rocks!!

i bought a True Type body to display the police version and looks awesome!!!

This is my 1/6th grail!!!

the box alone is spectacular!!! the way it looks, the way it's organized..the 3 joker cards! crazy!

i love everything about it!!

10/10!!!

here some shots of mine which is a WIP. The dx shirt has been dyed the correct color and the tie has also been dyed a couple times and weathered, the blazer has gotten some work as well. It is also on a regular TT which really improves the look as heath has really broad shoulders. I also added more red to the lips and I am in the process of weathering the shoes, paints, and overcoat.

Right now Hottoys Predator is the best in my collection and I await the DX too see if it beats it out but I doubt it... Been a Predator fan for ages... Dark Knight is new but getting old with every passing day.... Predator is still good after 1000 views....

That looks really nice lforigno. Is dying something simple enough that I, a mediocre customizer could do it?

So how did you dye the undercoat without ruining the red/orange liner?

I'm still shocked that Harue still cannot make a proper shirt and tie.

It depends, too much dye in a lot of water makes very little difference. A lot of dye in the water can heavily saturate it. It's finding the right balance.

Then there is... how long do you leave it to soak?... I honestly have no idea. Maul said somebody else attempted something like this once that caused the fabric to go hard. Which was a different type of dye.

Where can you buy this exact dye?

What good is that then if they only make prototypes.

the dye is a liquid rit dye. The liquid dye is not as strong as the powder dye. I put some warm water in a tuperware container and then a table spoon on royal blue rit dye, teaspoon of navy and just a drop of black. then rinse and wash the fabric. Then after it dries repeat with only royal blue dye to give it a true dark blue look.
