I loved the DX head too when i first got it... but somehow fell out of love with it in a couple of months and especially after seeing the Adam heads and then later the BobbyC heads... but I think your custom head is far superior to the DX

Yeah I got to say when I first got my DX I thought the sculpt was tops, but I totally agree with Void. Adam's and Bobby's are much better. I mean the face on the DX is decent, however it's a very small head. Especially with the sculpted hair, though I still like my modded DX head, I'd trade up for one of Adam's or Bobby's in a second.

I think the DX head is the best of the Hot Toys Joker sculpts. The likeness is decent and PERS gives you some options. I still love the BRJ sculpt, but it's second for me. Now if I had an opportunity to trade up to Bobby's or Adam's, I wouldn't hesitate. Bobby's is the greatest Heath Joker ever IMO. But until then, my modded DX will do fine.

As for adding hair, I really like the realism it adds when done right. I have 3 figures with real hair and I think it takes them up a notch. I know a lot of collectors prefer sculpted hair for this scale, but after having added hair to my Two Face and Monkey's amazing work on my Jokers, I don't.

I gotta admit, those customs look a lot more like Ledger from the movie than the HT heads. Probably the rooted hair, though, which is a big no-no in my collection.

Commtech: Your Joker looks fantastic. Looks like Bobby actually took his time with the paint on that one, though I still have my own minor quibbles with the hair. It does look better than any that others have posted though. I always said the sculpt was the best I'd seen but the paint and hair needed some work/refining, but we all know what happened when I dared point that out.

Great work futzing/putting yours together.

I agree as well, the hair and paint looks a lot better. It makes the other owners, sadly look inferior to this latest.

Yeah, the only thing I can say about it that I don't 100% like is I still feel in 1/6 a mixture of sculpted and real hair provides a better look. Like what Adam does. But still, that's damn fine work. The way the hair flows down the sides of the head, especially. My only quibbles are with the way the hair lays on top of the head.

Yea Neo's is definitely my favorite out of all of them and Remy's is a close second. with Commetch's now tied with Remy's

Surely they must be about. The v1 hands are exactly the same so they are bound to show up surely... well same except the extras.

I do have the hands needed to do the mob-scene looks, but I'm in a bit of a tight spot so that's why I'm using the BR hands for now as a substitute. I'm just waiting until I finish paying off this semester before I go and buy more things I need like the hands, and proper boots for my Takara as well as another velvet lforigno cape, this time the OC size
