Yea trust me, I know how tough it is. I pieced together my DX Joker a little late in the game (last summer actually) and it was pretty dang hardto find the coat then.

And to answer your question, Kato's coat hasn't been made yet. He's made everything but the overcoat. He has a thread in the Custom Creations forum being managed by member intothevoid, titled under "Laughing Man" or "Funny Man" since he can't use TDK Joker as a title for licensing reasons if I'm not mistaken. But yea look there, it's probably on the the first page still. Kato is thebest at 1/6 tailoring IMO though his clothing it a bit out of my price range. But if you have the money, he's apparently starting a second run of all the clothing that has been made already. Anywhoo, check the thread out and maybe you'll find someone willing to sell you their DX overcoat or you may end up wanting the Kato one. Hope this helps

HOLY ****!!! You werent kidding! That is some serious money to lay down on clothes for a figure. I think it was $130 just for the shirt or vest! The coat will be $300. Even if I had the money I dont think Id get it.Ive put out good money for figures before but not clothes..well not to that extent. Dont get me wrong the work is simply stunning. Looks like an actual real life suit just scaled down. Thanks for looking out anyway man. I think Ill just have to keep my eyes open for the DX coat. That'll do me just fine:lol :wave

Nice pics. I especially like the second one. I need to take some pics of mine. Ive had mine for a while now and havent taken any. I guess cause he looks so much better with the DX coat than the v1 coat which is what I have.

I often find myself wishing I had two of these, so I could display one without the purple coat. The Joker's costume is so cool and colorful and elaborate underneath, it's a pity that it's hidden by so much of the coat. (But then, the purple is really cool too, so it'd be a pity not to display that either!)

Well people it has finally happened:

When I used to see people post pics of their brokedn PERS sculpt I would ask myself "how is this happening, are they playing with it everyday, are they being too rough with?" I even went to extra lengths to be extremely gentle with the joy stick and not use it often. This happened after literally my 6th time moving it. Not that it should matter, it shouldnt break at all no matter how many times you use it as long as your being gentle with it. I couldnt believe how thin the plastic is that holds the eyes together to the joy stick. If your one of those people like myself that think everyone else is doing something wrong and it wont break on you ,think again. Just adjust the eyes in a spot you like and keep them there. Oh well it sucks but what are ya gonna do. So I just decided to have some fun with it:

Thats a major bummer. Sorry that happened Fiend.

Your advice is noted, I will never move the eyes on mine again.

Yeah dude that sounds like a good idea. I really thought this wouldnt happen to me and i picked it up last night to change the eyes for the first time in months and then blammo :( I would take my index finger and thumb and completely cover the joystick,as I thought holding at the end and moving about I thought there was more chance for it to snap, and then Id move it very slowly. But it was no good. The circular pc of plactic thats goes around the joystick is so thin. If that was thicker or made from something stronger this wouldnt happen. Im just gonna take some silly off the wall pics of him and make the best of it.

I'm pretty new to HT stuff but this looks absolutely amazing. Love the pose with the grenades/string

I Dyed both my sports coat and shirt on my Joker. For the Sports coat, remove the inner lining with a seam ripper. And on mine there was this white mesh like material behind the pockets on the inside. Mine had it and i didnt think of taking it off and it left mark on the coat. You want to use Blue Denium dye. but first use bleach to strip the color of the jacket and then rinse that jacket well other wise when you dye it it wont owkr it will just contaminate the water and dye. Then you want to have you water boiling and add the dye at that point and a little salt (helps with the dye working) and then put your jacket in until you have reached your opinion of screen accurate. LEt it go a little dakrer than you'd think tho cause the fabric is wet so it will appear darker than it is. FOr the Shirt i did not even bleach it (i tried the fabric doesnt change) so using the same dye do the same process. The shirt will be screen accurate for scenes where the lighting s darker. BUt it will be more blue instead of the greyish it is.

Here's a pic of mine after i dyed them.
