This will definitely piss off those who bought V1 at above pre-order price.

But lesson learned. Now, if I miss a Hot Toys product, and it turned out to be hot selling stuff, I wouldn't be too sad about it. Most likely they will re-issue it with better features.

So what next? A Batman TDK costume 2 in 1 with the Batpod? Many seemed to complain about Batman TDK beer belly. Maybe Hot Toys can fix that problem and re-release him with the new eye system and call it MMS DX2.

Sideshow just needs to buy HT while they can. With HT's advances and Sideshow's resources, they would be unstopable!

It might be too late for that. HT may be worth more than Sideshow now. Afterall, they're financing their own motion picture and everything.

The only true resource Sideshow can bring to the table to help Hot Toys is their impeccable Customer Service.

No not the beer belly. You can fix it by yourself by just pushing it back. The main problem is his chest it's too massive. And if HT would make a 2in1 Batman with a new Bruce Wayne Head and a nice suit for him, I'm sooo in for it. Please Hot Toys, make it!!!

just ordered it today in the Hottoys shop. It's around 160 US for that figure. Of course it might be more exp. when ordered in the US so I guess around 180?

1. Price is around $160 in HK. Expect to see a markup from DC direct though so I would say $180-$200.

2. Only the Joker head has movable eyes.

It is odd that the new figure (cop) doesn't have the eye system... maybe the next joker will come with a different cop expression with moveable eyes and a hat that says Gotham.

i'm sure they'll fix the 'gotham' bit on the hat and throw in the pencil by the time this get into production. They've improved on virtually every figure from initial pics and specs to release if i'm not mistaken

Absolutely phenomenal figure! I passed on V1 Joker because of the poor headsculpt, and wasn't interested in V2 Joker because it wasn't his classic suit. If the price isn't too much to swallow, I can't imagine passing up this chance to get an ultimate Joker figure. This has got to be the most realistic 1:6 scale figure Hot Toys has done so far, and that's saying something.

Love the direction Hot Toys is taking

Year after year now for at least 3 years Hot Toys has constantly one upped itself. All this only increases my respect for Hot Toys. Any company willing to strive so far with products like Robo Cop, the Powerloader, Iron Man, the Batmobile ect., and now this you have to applaud!

Complacency within a company leads to stale releases and ultimately alienates its fans. Amazing to see a company work so hard to move forward and push the boundaries of what we all thought was possible in the 1/6 medium.



What a fine time to be a collector of 1/6 scale products!

I am one of the very few that didn't buy a BR Joker -- though I was considering getting one in the next few months. Now I have decisions to make.

Do I get a BR Joker w/ mask?
Do I get a V1 Joker w/ Bank Robber 2nd head (which I may be able to find on ebay after this revelation)?
Do I get this V3 Joker/ Police Officer?

And -- how do I fill in the missing accessories? The mask, the machine gun, the knife, etc. from the figures I don't get?

Does anyone have comparison pictures of the BR headsculpt and this headsculpt? I can't decide which I prefer. It may come down to price ... cheapest wins.

Sideshow could offer the exclusive version which includes the pencil.

So how does the eye feature work?, i know people have mentioned Enterbay's Bruce Lees, but i don't really know much about them either.
