GEEZ!

This will definitely piss off those who bought V1 at above pre-order price.

But lesson learned. Now, if I miss a Hot Toys product, and it turned out to be hot selling stuff, I wouldn't be too sad about it. Most likely they will re-issue it with better features.

So what next? A Batman TDK costume 2 in 1 with the Batpod? Many seemed to complain about Batman TDK beer belly. Maybe Hot Toys can fix that problem and re-release him with the new eye system and call it MMS DX2.

hehehe
I think you're right.
Hey Hot Toys! When are you going to release a New Superman Returns with a new head sculpt, with movable and heat vision lighted eyes?
:D

Love the direction Hot Toys is taking :rock

Year after year now for at least 3 years Hot Toys has constantly one upped itself. All this only increases my respect for Hot Toys. Any company willing to strive so far with products like Robo Cop, the Powerloader, Iron Man, the Batmobile ect., and now this you have to applaud!

Complacency within a company leads to stale releases and ultimately alienates its fans. Amazing to see a company work so hard to move forward and push the boundaries of what we all thought was possible in the 1/6 medium.

:clap :clap :clap

What a fine time to be a collector of 1/6 scale products!

VERY well said Chase :rock:rock:rock:rock

I too will applaude Hot Toys, thank you! :clap:clap

Sideshow could offer the exclusive version which includes the pencil. :lol

haha Don't care about the pencil , you could get it easily in an accesories pack released by other co.s (I remember there's a tool box which they released which includes a pencil)

One thing I am disappointed though.. where the hell is the SHOTGUN ..... that model in 1/6 is tough to come by...

So how does the eye feature work?, i know people have mentioned Enterbay's Bruce Lees, but i don't really know much about them either.

The "hair" portion pops off and behind the eyes are little knobs/sticks that you can use to movie/pose them.

Not sure yet how the Hot Toys eyes will work. The Lee figures have a removable hair piece and the eye stalks are located underneath.

BUT,my question is...how the hell will we be able to move the eyes?Doesnt look like the hair is removable:confused:

It's a very nice figure...but I have enough in my V1 and V2...looking forward to seeing how they apply these techniques to other figures.

The shotgun will come later with the nurse costume and new big smilling HS. :D

Someone else mentioned that a custom figure had some kind of magentic system that allowed you to move the eyes. Another one I've seen in the past had a divet in the pupil and you could stick a small pin in it to move the eyeballs around.

Hot Toys clearly says that the eyes are movable. My guess is you have to pop off the head and adjust the eyes from the neckpost.

That would be the most likely guess. Or something that gives the owner more control, something like a baby doll head that moves on its own would be annoying.

17 pages already! Damn these are active forums.

My 2 cents - an amazing piece of work. Quite simply a must-own. For those who don't like having more than one of any character its a bit of a blow that this decidedly superior version has come along but I won't mind so much having another.

If that is the case (and I really don't think this will be it) I would be worried, its hard enough changing out heads to have to worry about that everytime you want to pose the eyes differently.
