Do you guys think it's worth it to pay about $40 more on SS for the exclusive since I live in CA and have to pay taxes? On one hand, I always like to have exclusives because it's got more content, on the other hand, $40 more for something that I probably won't display anyways...What would you guys do?

I bought it. I live in CA. It's a tough decision, but in the end a personal one. I wanted the EX for this figure ans decided to shell out the additional funds in order to have it sooner in hand rather than later (when most other retailers receive them)
Collectors outside of CA in the continental US are lucky that taxes do not affect their purchases.

I think the regular sculpt is HT's best Joker effort yet..but the Ledger Joker look is the most disputed thing ever on these boards...

I agree. I'm most impressed by the regular sculpt.

The exclusive on this is fine if you're already getting it from SSC, or if the prices are the same. Personally, I skipped it in favor of the $20 price cut from BBTS -- no question I'd skip it for $40. I wouldn't (and won't) pay extra for an exclusive just for it to sit in the box.

The detonator isn't even right. Joker's detonator had two keys ... the exclusive is one of the one-key detonators that they boat hostages had.

Got this on order but I have to say I don't really see Heath in the sculpt. Face is too wide and hair is too short.

While I agree the jaw is the wrong shape as it is too wide and looks like a heart, the most important features which make it look like Heath is the inner proportions of the face. The face is in proportion and not stretched like the enterbay one. However, in terms of realism and jaw shape, the enterbay one is more accurate in that respect but the face is not in proportion.

I don't think we'll see in the future a better Joker than this one...

It's a must have.

This looks deformed?

Better get down to Specsavers.

Yes that does look deformed and so do these pics I am posting. If there is any likeness to Ledger it is some kind of skinny deformed face Ledger with a long face that is out of proportion.

His long chin is so obvious in this last picture.
