The reason why those photos of the EB looked retarded is because the photographer is retarded. Same thing has happened with the Bale sculpt on the 1:4. The forehead isn't actually that large it just looks that way in those pictures.

The EB one looks ok....... here but face still looks too long but maybe I can see some resemblance to Ledger here in close up shots.
But from far away shots like here, it looks deformed and face looks really stretched and out of proportion IMO.

Yeah. I just don't see it. The EB Joker isn't bad -- it just isn't good enough. Everything just seems a little bit off. I can't see paying more for a 1/4 figure that isn't a significant improvement from previous 1/6 offering.
It isn't a significant improvement. At best, its the same quality just bigger. Some of the clothes look like a step backward. The sculpt is alright, not great, and not enough better (if any) than the DX11, DX01 or BR sculpts.
I've seen Enterbay sculpts that blew me away. Jack Bauer. David Palmer. Prison Break. Godfather. MiB. The Joker just isn't one of them.
