The purple coat in particular looks like a V1 Hot Toys to me with those lapels.
Head sculpt could have been better, the body is all wrong. Very underwhelming figure overall.
For my money DX11 is much more value.

The coat looks like cardboard but at least it is the right color. Yeah it is not worth $400 IMO.

Ideally I'd like to get both Joker's (this and EB)
I think both have really strong points. The 2.0's laughing head is arguably the best sculpt thus far and the whole outfit, accessories and backdrops are fantastic. I think the 2.0 gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Not to mention the interrogation scene is my favorite look of the movie!
I really dislike the regular sculpt though, I see very little Heath in there and it doesn't look scene specific or generic either at the same time...it just looks odd to me. I'll still probably end up using it though, since my DX 1 has broken PERS
The EB version looks awesome and I just love 1/4. I also think the quality/size is fantastic for the price that it is. 1/6 is inching closer and closer to that $300 price, so to save another $120 isn't that bad considering the size. I know there's a lot of bashing going on on both sides of these figures, but it always comes down to what you like.
I like both so I'm hoping I can manage both. (perhaps treat myself to one and the other could be my x-mas gift)

There are plenty of people who do see Ledger in the EB. I'm just as surprised that people see Ledger here

Yeah i agree Ash, I really don't like this sculpt at all. But it's odd how the laughing one is dead on...and Yulli did both.
A lot of people think EB's is too narrow, but this one looks too wide. Like I said though, I'm in it for the laughing sculpt...that's the gem of this set for me.
A prominent cleavage. Its been used on the forum before, cropped I think, but I couldn't find it so went with that one.

EBs is not just too narrow it is out of proportion, for example the eyes are too far away from the mouth. EBs one looks like someone grabbed Heath Ledger and stretched his face! That being said EBs one like I said before has the correct jaw shape but the chin is too long.
The Hot Toys normal 2.0 one is in more proportion but you are right the jaw is the wrong shape.
It is probably easier to do a laughing Joker than to do a normal version of Heath as the Joker, which explains why Yulli's laughing one is good, whereas this normal one is weird.

After seeing Retaane's video on you tube, I think the EB Joker does have some Ledger likeness but it still looks weird to me. Then again so does the regular 2.0 Joker sculpt. I do not think either one is better than the other, just different I guess.

I don't mind the regular HT sculpt...it's the laughing one that looks odd to me.

That sums it up for me. I think it's a nice TDK collectible just didn't reach the expectations that I feel it surely should have met. And certainly not worth the money.
