Dude, these parts are gonna be insanely popular. You can get the table w/ lamp + the chair for $30. Wasn't another set like that going for like $80?

I buy Hot Toys Batman parts from Toy Anxiety all the time.

Definitely thought of buying an accessory or two. Not sure I want to pay up front with preorder parts though. I prefer when they break them up as they get them.

Whenever they do a POPO they have far fewer in-stock break downs due to the majority of their stock being put up for the POPO, so I wouldn't wait if I were you guys. I go all the parts I needed for my second Joker for under $100. Not quite as good of a deal as the DX Luke 2 pack, but its not bad considering the current price of figures now.

I just don't want to pay for parts that I won't get until February or March. Not with 6-7 months to go.

It might even be longer with pending delays. Let's not forget about the whole 1st and 2nd shipment scenario where Sideshow was the only distributor receiving stock for a month and a half while CSC, BBTS, Toy Anxiety, Alter Ego etc. had to wait.


Had the shoes, vest, body, tie, basically the essentials for a second figure in the cart but I just let it go as they dropped one by one. I much prefer buying the parts as they have them in stock (though the price does tend to rise a bit each break down).

Though, there is a certain point where you can get better deals on parts from goodshipped and a few other Asian sellers on ebay. Couple weeks back all the DX 08 Jack Joker parts were going for even less than TA.


It's when the figures REALLY saturate the market that the going is good.

Though, there is a certain point where you can get better deals on parts from goodshipped and a few other Asian sellers on ebay. Couple weeks back all the DX 08 Jack Joker parts were going for even less than TA.


It's when the figures REALLY saturate the market that the going is good.

Shoes, vests, ties, shirts. Just about all the essentials are gone. I had them all in my cart when there was like 10 in stock. My total was $80 or $90 something but then I thought "eh, I won't be seeing these until Spring of 2013" and booked out.

Then the shoes went, then the tie, etc. etc.

I only pay with Paypal, so ideally I'm hoping to get the SS Ex for retail/less than retail on here, or even from SSC (since it wouldn't shock me if the Ex didn't sell out by the time it's "in stock"). Yeah, don't worry it won't. They're not going anywhere. That's why I think pre-ordering is a little silly now a days. None of the regular, non-show figures sell out and they mass produce even more figures than ever before.

I did preorder the Ex. with Sideshow but that's just because I had a **** ton of rewards points to use on it. I figured I'd just kill it on day one.

Best time to buy whole sets or parts is like 1-2 months after the figure has hit. Sometimes three. The prices go below MSRP and you get sweet deals on all the broken down sets.





As far as the Ex. goes, if Superman is any indication the Ex. won't be going anywhere for a while.
