Australia is not too bad. I've never paid any tax from SS and also HK usually offer free shipping. Our local stores stock mostly everything including hard to get figures because I guess nobody thinks of looking in Australia! I think the most I've paid postage is about $45 which is ok to me.

I'm actually Scottish and I did a comparison on some toy stores back home in Britain and they seem to get butt raped bad though. Glad I moved :yess:

These things as good as they are are simply not worth $400-$500.

$45, huh? What was it? One figure, a few figures, statue? I usually don't get more than one figure at a time. I don't think I ever paid more than $20 for shipping. And that's the high end. :lol

$45 is about the going rate for a single figure set as a tracked parcel from the US. Buying from SSC the rate is better because of their arrangement with FedEx. The DX04 ex. I got from them was a large box that only set me back $36. Nam said at the time that it cost me less to pick that set up living in Australia than it did for him living in CA.

At least we don't get taxed on parcels with a declared value below $1000, which is something.

Everything went fast! I was online when Buttmunch posted so I went right over there and got everything I needed..except the shoes. :lol They must be pretty popular cuz they were the first to go. TA will put more up eventually. Maybe not at the same prices but better than ebay.

If it's not people making a second 2.0 figure, the shoes are still a fantastic upgrade for the DX.

damn this figure just got delayed till next year, I was hoping for this figure to be released by december, hopefully the batman figure doesn't get delayed either.

Slow clap for HT...

in light of the Mark I 2.0 basic stand fiasco, I can see HT potentially not including the shotgun and movie backdrop as stated in the specs when Joker is finally released..

From the Joker specs?? What items?

Basically, HT promised to include the basic nameplate with movie logo stand along with the Mark I 2.0 figure. The figure was finally released, but without said stand. When customers asked about it, HT's response was to remove that stand from the Mark I 2.0 accessory list on its official website, even though it was clearly there up until the figure was not yet released. They went on to announce on their FB page that only the diorama stand will be included, referencing the regular picture where HT usually reveals all of the figure's accessories, which coincidtally does not include the said nameplate stand.

Now, the stand is a cheap accessory, and close to being insignificant in cost considerations. But I think this sets a dangerous precedent for future releases. And imo, the DX11 Joker may be of concern if HT does not respond correctly to the Mark I stand issue. As you all know, both the shotgun and movie backdrop does not appear in the picture where all of the Joker's accessories are revealed, much like how the basic nameplate stand did not appear in the picture where all of the Mark I 2.0's accessories are displayed (which, as I mentioned above, is what HT used to back its claim).

Again, it's not the price of the accessory removed, but the tendency of HT not fully delivering on its promises - a breach in contract agreement between a company and its customer.

You've made some good points. I'd hate if the shotgun isn't gonna be included. :(

Yeah, the shot gun is a must. But on the same token they've also had pics without certain accessories but when they were shipped they were in the box. So...:dunno

You got some good points man. Im pretty sure after I get this and the TDKR figures...Im done with this part of the hobby. I fear that pretty soon theyll be asking $300+ for each figure, which is rediculous. I wont pay those prices, Ill just love what I have and move on to something else.

Unfortunately most of us won't have a choice. :(

there isn't on the USA any monopoly laws for situations like this??? Or that kind of laws don't apply to luxury?
