I'll be out once I get certain characters I've been wanting for so many years. Agreed that the expense is just getting too much.
Me too. Luckily theres only a few figures left that I want.
I think the day I'm out is the day I sell my entire collection tbh, I cant imagine being out of getting new releases and yet still enjoy my current collection
I'm hoping next year will be very different to this year though, this year has been tough with the Avengers and all the Batman stuff next year should be much quieter

Agreed it would be hard to quite,but as weak as I may be,I cant justify an extreme price hike...I think But as far as next year being quiet,I don't see it...With all the vehicles coming,And the three batman lines yet to be revealed...Arkahm,returns,1960...I'm going to be pretty busy

Thats the thing...I pretty much have everything I want so I feel like Im done after the TDKR figures. Thats why Im so picky about the Bane figure. Sure, if HT somehow comes out with something I really want, Ill reconsider, but Im 99% the figures I want will never be made. With stupud ass Medicom and Enterbay already asking ludacris prices...HT isnt far away from $300+ figures. And I refuse to pay that much for a 1/6th scale toy.

I guess what I mean by quiet is the lack of new PO going up so basically I'm hoping for a quiet 2014

Glad this is coming out when it is. With the current trend of increasing figure costs can you imagine what SS/HT would price this thing in a year or two from now? I shudder to even think about it.

The more I look at this, the more I want it. This thing is so damn good, that I've made a nightly ritual out of looking at the pics. I can't even begin to comprehend what I'll be feeling when I have this thing in-hand.
Funny how everyone's celebrating the delay on this one. Maybe this wasn't even a technical decision on their part, maybe they just want to try to sell more figures by pushing the release date forward. I'm on the same boat as you guys, November already has too much stuff coming out!

I would've preferred HT delaying their other releases for October (like Terminator, MGS and those 2 weird monkey-like figures) and pushing for early release of the Avengers and TDKR line...alas, it didn't happen

This. I actually haven't purchased an HT figure in over a year because of the rising prices. Only reason I'm forking out the $250 for Joker and possibly Batman is cause I missed out on all the previous ones. I'm gonna have to be very selective and picky over the figures I buy.

Oh I'm definitly out when MMS figures are at a constant DX price rate...And that doesnt seem to be far off unfortunately

i'm hopeful the shotgun will remain in the set, i dont know about the case with the mark 1 re-issue, but the shotgun is in the image from toy fair--looking great--so maybe that's a good sign.
300+ is a lot to ask for 1/6, especially as the quality control gets harder to maintain with the volume increase. even the dx01 i got doesnt look as good as some i've seen in pics from people's collections. but i guess that's the gamble we take.
beyond some of the other dkr offers--specifically batman, gordon, and bane--i am not really looking to get involved. customs, on the other hand....

Exactly. Wait until they start publishing teasers of the Cesar Romero Joker. Then we'll see who caves in. I can't wait for that one.
