What is the estimate price of DX 11 in Hong Kong ?

Being new around here, I kept my mouth shut, but now I'll say I thought that BW head was poor as a representation of Bale. I also felt the same about all those "uncanny valley" Joker/Ledger heads, they were on some strange border between realistic and yet off just enough to look extremely creepy.

You should not have to keep your mouth shut. I think we all have a right to express our opinions, but those that belong to these artist's cult think they can do no wrong, so if you say anything is wrong with their works according to them you are wrong.

It's not a personal attack on the sculptor or those who like it, it's just my opinion (I'm sure I've made some more enemies right now anyway though lol).

I disagree with a lot of your comments but I do not consider you an an enemy and it is not right if you do make enemies from what you said. it is just your opinion and you are entitled to express it.

When I watched TDK, for the most part, I don't see Ledger, only his performance as The Joker. There are few parts of the movie where u can see Heath under the makeup besides the cop uniform scene where he wore no makeup. The first is when he was about to kill Gambol during the "Why so serious" scene. The second is when Batman beat the crap out of him and The Joker ends up giving the address to both locations. I see Heath there. And last, when The Joker was on top of Batman at the end where he says "And here we GO!!" Those are 3 scenes where I see Heath Ledger under the makeup.

I would agree with all that but the core likeness of Ledger is still there. You have to sculpt Ledger to make the Joker from the Dark knight if you want a dead on accurate representation of TDK Joker. That is why so many people love Adam's it looks like Ledger as the Joker from the film despite having no personality and looking like a wax figure.

Anytime, my friend. I appreciate the gratitude, but you don't have to thank me, and you'll never have to. I just like helping fellow freaks on here if they want their items quick and not have to wait months like what SSC be BSing about the DX12 getting stuck in customs, yada yada yada etc for people who still waiting to get their hands on it after almost 5 months of it's release. That's why I rely on my sources and go to my LCS who usually get the first batch of HT figures from SSC cuz of the wholesale they be doing. That's how I got my DX12 in November before anyone else that had him on preordered. Also, they got my Bane coming in next week so to speak and they know that I'm first in line to get him cuz I made a request for them to place an order for me. Since I pretty much wasted most of my funds on the DX11, my LCS is nice enough to hold Bane aside for me up to 30 days which is awesome. That's why I never preorder from SSC. I don't think anyone should, IMO. They don't care if your the first to preordered from them. They just ship out in random orders. That's what I think. Wait till the item says in stock. Then buy. That's one advice I'll give to some of y'all.

Why can't ht's do his hair like this? I mean they only do rooted hair when it stupid crap like baby doll or bw and they look like barbies! Man that hair color looks good too with the right amount of blonde and green.

Sorry I was going to hold my tongue but what you have said sounds really idiotic. You see Ledger but not the Joker? If anything I think the likeness to Ledger is poor in most of them and I see more of the Joker character than Ledger in most of the sculpts. Especially in the laughing sculpts and that stupid Hit me sculpt that looks so cartoony and more like the Joker character than Ledger.

because hot toys are mass produced. there is no way they could do this on a large scale without some form of compromise.

and if they did it would be more complicated to mass produce and most likely cost a lot more. BWs hair is very simple compared to the hair on this Joker.

Thanks for this, I'm glad you understood what I was saying. Sometimes I come off as rude or arrogant when that's not my intention, so I'm glad you didn't think I was just being a jerk. And also, I should've pointed out that most of the sculpts I don't like still have good likenesses, just not to my taste, and there are a few that I think are great. But they're all a lot better than I can do, that's for sure!

You didn't come off arrogant to me, just expressing your opinion. Yeah I agree some of the sculpts have good likeness but they are not for everyone.

Nine more days. This has been my most anticipated figure for a while, now, and I can't wait to own it.

I'll tell ya, when you guys get this in hand I think a majority of you guys are going to love the sculpt. over the past few days I have gotten in a bunch of new figures but the DX11 on shelf is impressive and easily has the most character on the shelf.

I feel like I have seen the expression a million times in the movie but cant really point it out, its as you move around the figure and look from different angles it seems to almost "change" expressions.
