Really, that's actually not too, too bad. A couple of refinements, and I could see that working as the first neutral "Ledger Joker smiling" sculpt (which I'd like to see Hot Toys pursue).
Sure, we have that interrogation laughing one, but, I'm talking a neutral smiling version like that mob scene or at the party or in the truck. Just a smile that shows teeth where it doesn't look like he's laughing till it hurts.
I definitely see Ledger in that custom sculpt, especially the profile. However, it also looks like Ledger and Nicholson (from '89 and the Shining) merged a bit though. Also, that paint job is horrendous. Then again, it's not like it's a $1,000 . . . .

Think so? Definitely looks weird to me. Looks like actually sculpted the profile of the paint.

So if we get billed finaly on 20th may or could have this guy on our shelves as early as the 25th or possibly as late as april 1st april fools day. Perfect date for him to arrive april 1st lets hope this joker doesnt take that long...

Sorry, I know the thread is moving on, but I just wanted to mention I agree with that 100%. Being new around here, I kept my mouth shut, but now I'll say I thought that BW head was poor as a representation of Bale. I also felt the same about all those "uncanny valley" Joker/Ledger heads, they were on some strange border between realistic and yet off just enough to look extremely creepy. The balance HT found works much better for me. It's not a personal attack on the sculptor or those who like it, it's just my opinion (I'm sure I've made some more enemies right now anyway though lol). I have HT Indy and really like it despite its flaws, and it doesn't bother me a bit when people ridicule that.
I've yet to see a perfect 1/6 head anyway IMO, custom or not.I guess BBTS will be getting this later than SS, I can't wait to see all the pics posted here.

This guy is already in NY. They are fast. I wasn't expecting it to move again until Monday. I made a joke a week ago about getting my DX11 before DX12, well it might just happen.

Well, the Joker is Ledger wearing make-up.
Nah, Im just ****ing with you. You're not alone in thinking that. They're plenty people who've said the same thing.
For me, it's the best around and depending on what angle he can look different.
When I watched TDK, for the most part, I don't see Ledger, only his performance as The Joker. There are few parts of the movie where u can see Heath under the makeup besides the cop uniform scene where he wore no makeup. The first is when he was about to kill Gambol during the "Why so serious" scene. The second is when Batman beat the crap out of him and The Joker ends up giving the address to both locations. I see Heath there. And last, when The Joker was on top of Batman at the end where he says "And here we GO!!" Those are 3 scenes where I see Heath Ledger under the makeup.
From Japan to NY by Sunday is pretty quick. She paid Thursday night around 7pm.
I wonder if it will come with the rest of my daily mail or on a separate USPS truck.

^ You'll get it mañana fo sho. Just be by the door when the mailman comes. I usually leave a note next to the doorbell to tell them to ring multiple of times cuz they usually ring once and if u don't get to the door in time, there's your pink slip. Lol.

Iman...why did you cancel?
I bought one off of amiami.com. It was cheaper and I got it in 2 days instead of waiting until like mid-April.
I ordered it last Thursday and got it last Saturday, granted I am in Japan along with them but even shipping to the states is like 3-4 days.
