I simply took a cotton stem wet I have mi in the incense ash (which I had with me) that I then applied on the mantle in some place.
the head is removable from the neck peg, and the neck peg is removable from the body. to ensure a safe removal, heat with a hairdryer...
I know, but I was wondering if it could be found closer to retail. $275-$300 range It was sold for for $275 right?
Go-hastings has them for retail.
Just realized the DX11 I bought, second hand, has a paint scratch on his nose. I'm guilty for not looking it over very well but I can't recall ever dropping him so I'm wondering if he came that way. I really don't want to buy a new one but I dont know if I can libve with it as is.

Pretty easy to repair buddy. Just need white and black acrylics and and q-tips, then apply a little white to a q-tip and remove almost the whole color on a piece of paper until it's almost dry, then apply the color left on the q-tip to the nose carefully and repeat this step until it works for you and add dark shades in the same way with the black color.
Done it before with a color chip (figure came like that) on an older Joker release and was pretty happy with the result.
If the scratch is deaper than the original color I'd recommend to use some skin toned filler before.
Edit: If it doesn't work in the end or if you don't like to try that I think shells075 is right suggesting to buy a new head, would drive me mad as well.
If the first thing you see when you look at the figure is the scratch on the nose, then I suggest buying a new head, otherwise it will just bug the hell out of you.

have you ever dealed with them before
Yea, I was going to just bite the bullet and order the head from Toy Anxiety and, of course, poof it was gone. Story of my life with TA
My lack of skill and my eyes always shifting to the errors I make with any hand work makes what would be my end result of this, probably, worse than the chipped paint. Why did it have to be on his nose, damnit!?
Hopefully a decent priced head will pop up.
