Hey guys, we had an earthquake here last night and Batman fell down and scuffed his shoulder pad. Any idea of how to fix the paint? I've never done paint before so if you could be really specific, thanks. I would send it to someone but idk how to detach the pad from the body. Any help?

Hey man,

hope it's all well and only the Batman's shoulder pad got scuffed! Sorry to hear that but from the photo it kind of looks like there isn't any paint missing but some white paint that got attached to the surface. Did it fall against a white painted wall or somthing like that? If so you could probably remove the paint carefully. Think one can detach the complete chest armor with the shoulder pads but it would have to be re-glued after that so if a re-paint is necessary I'd recommend to send the entire body to sombody here, the shoulder pad could easily be masked for painting.

I agree. I don't think it needs repainting, you've just got to find a gentle, careful way to remove that paint rub. I'd start with your fingernail and then maybe some hot water. Anything stronger like paint thinner or nail polish remover will get the paint off...and completely ruin the plastic.

Earthquakes must be a real hazard for collectors. Glad we don't get them where I live.

You guys are amazing. It was just a paint scratch and I just scraped it off! The weird thing about the earthquake was that MOS didn't fall and nothings even holding him up. Dx12 was on his stand and I found him sideways and I picked up him and saw the scratch. I initially thought the scratch came from the DX11 stand but the only thing that was white was the dx12 stand so I guess that had to be it and I just didn't realize. Anyway, thank you guys! But it did motivate me to buy a new body and do the undersuit mod.

do you guys have the custom mouth pieces from ebay?

are they any good? how is the paint application compared to the original mouth pieces?

These look AWESOME. TDK and MoS look good together...but we have to cheat.

I know we're getting a new batman to go with this superman one day, But it's shame that I can't do a worlds finest right now without either heavy modding or clever placement of the figures.
